Tuner is the best & most accurate I have ever used.Works with electric & acoustic bass, tenor and 5 string banjo, guitar 6 & 12 string, mandolin & fiddle. Initially the plastic 'stem' broke and Sabine promptly replaced with a new unit at no charge.

This is a very convenient tuner. Works great, in any light. I also have a Yamaha YT150 Guitar/ Bass Auto Tuner that works very well, and I find myself reaching for the Sabine every time. It's small, light weight, very accurate, and super easy to use.

I'm amazed at the things that are called tuners these days. God bless this Sabine Zoid. It's tiny but does the job. I love it because it can handle alternate tunings. What more do you need!?

Being a beginner and not really knowing how to tune by ear, I ordered this product. It was very easy to use even for a 100% beginner like me! I recommend this product to anyone who is in need of tuning. The only con to the tuner is that the power button has two functions and can be confusing. Other than that one flaw, this product is excellent.

Tuner works great. It is convienent and accurate. I have almost no adjustment to make when I verify my 1st and 2nd strings witht he harmonics of my 5th and 6th string. You can move it from one guitar to another easily. If there is noise in the room it doesn't seem to affect it's ability to tune. I love it.

I'm a total beginner banjo player. This little tuner helped me get rolling on lessons and exercises. By ear it seems 100% accurate and repeatable. And contrary to an earlier review, it does have auto off - 3 minutes with no tone and it shuts down, saving the battery.I would cry if I lost it and would definitely buy again.

Inaccuracy kills this great tuner idea,
This review is from: Sabine Zoid Clip-On Tuner for Stringed Instruments
Very easy to use. Color changing display (green when in tune) is great. But the problem is that the tuner is way off, especially on the sixth string (low E) on a guitar. The string is actually flat when the tuner says it is in tune. I've confirmed this many times with other tuners, other guitars. UGH! Such a GREAT idea, but when it is inaccurate, what good is it? I'm thinking of getting the Peterson strobe clip on, which is $40 more, but if it's accurate, it's worth it. Anybody else have this problem?

Very Disappointing,
This review is from: Sabine Zoid Clip-On Tuner for Stringed Instruments
I bought this tuner for tuning a string bass. I thought it would be handy to be able to clip it onto the bridge or pegbox and tune even in noisy environments. It has proved completely useless for that purpose. Even in a quiet environment, it cannot recognize the sound of the low E string (41.2 Hz). It hears it as a B, an F#, a G#, a C#, anything but what it is, an E. Tuning to harmonics is no better. Also, one has to bow *very* loudly for it to pick up any signal at all. It does a little better on the two top strings, but for the low E and A, it is hopeless. It seems to do much better on a guitar, but if you were planning on using it to tune a bass, my advice is to forget it and get something else.
