Best Metronome,
By
This review is from: Sabine ZipBeat 6000 Digital Metronome
I have visted multiple music stores and looked at a myriad of metronomes, but this one is the best. When my piano students need a metronome, I simply ask the parents if I can order it for them online. They don't have to go to the store ... I can make sure the kids get the best one ... and it's always here by next week's lesson.

Love this metronome - but wish it had volume control - it is terribly loud.

Awesome metronome, love this thing nice and loud (can be heard over drums); turn dial bpm is really sweet. I made the mistake of buying a digital metro (digital sounding) before coming across this; this is it for me using this thing till it blows up then buying another one.

It seems to be pretty good, I love the lights on it, I have always thought I needed lights and the click bang. I read alot of reviews, all there was anyway, and all seemed good and said it was loud and needed a volume control. I'm a few months from finishing school with an electronics degree AAS, so figured I would do something. When I got it I loved the lights. All is cool with it, and after a few days of thinking, at first I just stuck the included earphone from the 1940's in it and left it on the table, and that took care of that, and I could still hear it but faint and not over any instrument. Guitar. Lights, dont need the beeps with that. My idea came, finally, plug in the cheapest set or single speaker like a computer speaker set, I had a few collecting dust, plug them into the earphone on the metronome, and the speakers have a volume control. That fixed that nicely. Now have lights and sound at the level I want. Happy.

As a banjo player, I need to have great timing. I, however, was not born with this!!! Enter: Sabine's ZipBeat 6000 Digital Metronome!
This thing is awesome! Super easy to use, and very nice features. I recommend this device highly.

Our's has already had the button break, etc. but is still usable and works fine for young children if you don't have the money for the really nice ones.

It makes clear and loud tones which I can hear over my practice timer. It seems to be a tough unit.

I only just got it, but this Sabine Zipbeat metronome seems pretty decent. Takes a 9V battery, but it comes with one. Small enough to be easily portable, but when on its built-in stand is sizeable enough. Settings for time signatures from 2/4 to 6/4, or just an unaccented click-track if you prefer. Spin dial goes from largo to presto, 40-208 bpm. Nice loud, neutral "pop" tone - but not too loud, and if you want, an optional LED "sweep" to mimic a swinging metronome arm. No complaints.

This metronome functions as specificed. It beats loud and clear. It works well on introducing music and beat patterns to my 5 year old that started learning piano.
For kid just started piano, it could be extremely frustrating for them to follow the beats while playing. However, it helps them with the concept of counting music notes and the loud and clear beats facilate the counting practices.

This is a great metronome. The lights provide an excellent visual aid, the loud beat can even be heard by the drummer, and the turn dial makes finding the right tempo very easy. There's only 2 things I think could be improved: 1) I wish the sound could be turned off or even just down when we want only the lights -- however, we easily get around that by plugging in the ear phone that's included. 2) The last digit of the numbers on the right side of the bpm turn dial are a little difficult to read. I bought this for the young drummer on our worship team and now wish I had also bought one for myself (I play the violin). I would definitely recommend this metronome.
