This is my favorite book. I'm looking everywhere to find the rest of the series. On the book itself, I find incredibly stunning! It's the story of the son of a Sun King who finds his own destiny while discovering the way to true love and to have communion with his fellow man.

The Sable Moon is a "coming of age" story tied to a truly fantastic story. The story has mystery, beauty, and romance.

The main character Trevyn starts out a self-absorbed teenage prince (the kind you wouldn't mind strangling) and becomes a mythic hero figure (not in the sword-swinging-way, think magic).

If you can find a used copy of the book on-line (which I have done to replace of my original copy) buy it! Read it! Also read the Silver Sun and the White Hart for the historical context of this book.

I found this book on my book shelf, I read just one page and I was enthroled to read more. This book is about a prince of honor, and goodness who finds his destiny and saves his kindom from the pariles of evel. When I was done reading this amazing story I just felt good inside. I hope to find all those books, for thay are what dreams are made of. Even though these glorious, wonderful, amazing books are out of print. If anyone ever finds, The Sable Moon or any other of these glorious books, dont pass them up thay are just good for the soul books.
