Wayne Gorbea & Salsa Picante do a magnificant job in this album. If you are a die hard salsa fanatico, then you will not be disappointed with this disco. All the tracks are impressive! The last track "Estamos Chao" has to be one of the best arranged salsa songs I've have ever heard, and I've heard them all. Can't wait for the next release.

One of the very best. Favorite 'El Yo Yo' gets me in salsa trance each time. It has a relentless and pulsing rythm that gets you going, keeps you going and still has great breaks and solo's. (Also the track that my salsa teacher used to make us feel what was harder when we were beginners.)
Usually songs are better for dancing or for listening. This album stragely enough however is one of the fewer salsa albums I also listen too without dancing.
And something else for the salseros: I dance on 1, but 'Son Picante' makes dancing on the 2 very obvious. (Then again, salsa was born in New York, and they dance on the 2 there.)
I cannot recommend this enough. You can buy this eyes closed.

You will be hard pressed to find a better salsa cd without going back into the 70's or 80's. Salsa Dura at its best. The band is tight, the arrangements top notch and lead vocals crisp. A homerun no need to hit the skip button for this cd just press play and dance. The 2 best tracks are the first and last with everything in the middle filled with some dancefloor ready cuts.This is made for the clubs, djs, collectors and anyone who knows their salsa!!!!!!
