2.0 out of 5 stars Great Band...Poor Video
When I bought this, I expected some great concert footage as well as other videos. All there is is grainy second rate camcorder footage with the sabotage video and a few extras. I wouldn't buy this unless you're a big Beastie fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars BEASTIES CIRCA 1987!, April 12, 2001

I purchased this video when it was released in 1987 or 1988 and I am glad I still have it. It's a brief video collection of their Licensed To Ill videos plus funny interludes. Also, includes the classic beach video for "She's On It". A MUST FOR REAL BEASTIE FANS! The end Motel room segment is classic, crazy Beasties. Michael Diamond has said in interviews that he winces when he see's the things he used to do during the "License To Ill" Era. You won't wince, you will see the true, raw version of the Beasties that they will never be again!

This is a great video. I think this just proves that the Beasties are just as good in video as they are in song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great piece of Beastie History, January 9, 2002

This is worth it. Some classic songs adourn this DVD. The reason I bought it was to have an archivable copy since I already had the Video version. Some real nice Beastie work right from their experimental period feature here. Mullet Head is a definate sweet piece of Beastie work, as is Skills to Pay the Bills, neither of which made it to the Beasties Anthology (and why Netty's girl (not on this dvd) made it to the anthology, I'll never know because that song is real bad even if it is a pisstake song, these are FAR better in my opinion). Another good inclusion is Time for Livin', which captures the moment of the time period when these tunes were written (early 1990's) and the influences which drive the group to be the success it is. So yes, this is definately worth the purchase people, if you're a Beasties fan like me, I urge you to grab it while you can.

Sabotage is a great short Beastie Boys video. It captures the uncensored video of their greatest video-Sabotage. The video also contains other videos from the band as well as outtakes. It helps to give a boarder representation of what the band can do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Entertaining!, January 19, 2007
This review is from: Beastie Boys [VHS] (VHS Tape)
if u love the beastie boys then you'll love this video...it has all the music videos from the Licensed to Ill era & all the crazy back-stage partying they did back then with girls & the insane concert footage is in this video..pretty much the Beastie Boys in their wild teen years as famous rappers. warning some parts of this video are very shocking & jaw dropping but then again almost everything these guys do is shocking thats part of the reason why they're awesome
