From Library Journal
An oil shipping broker hardened by his experiences in Vietnam and a poised and gorgeous supertanker captain are up against a multinational piracy ring in this suspense thriller which is neither suspenseful nor thrilling. With its unbelievable and unlikeable characters, stilted dialogue, wordy lyricism on the couple's lovemaking, and an uninvolving mystery, the novel is a disappointment from veteran writer Knebel. However, the author's previous works (e.g., Seven Days in May, Vanished ) are probably enough to create demand in public libraries. A.M.B. Amantia, Population Crisis Committee Lib., Washington, D.C.
