See the little UL label on the power supply? It means that if you plug it in and it starts a fire you should be covered. If it doesn't have that and you burn someones house down the monkeys on your back. These guys show you a good power supply then ship a different unit. Do you really need another headache today? I would advise you stay away from this seller.

As you can clearly see in the picture of the product, there is a three-pronged grounded plug. This item DID NOT come as a three-pronged plug, rather it came as a two-pronged plug. Misleading pictures and descriptions are, unfortunately, all too common on Amazon now.

Steer clear of this item if you are wanting a three-prong grounded adapter.

I order this as it was displayed along-side the PicoPSU-90 as a bundle. I can confirm that the PSU's adapter "fit" the PicoPSU's power input jack, and that my power supply worked fine with my PicoPSU-90.

Unlike the image shown, this adapter has a 2-wire ungrounded plug and NO UL approval. The adapter produces considerable RF interference with any nearby AM radios and X-10 control systems.

As many have mentioned the product picture is not what you will be sent. I was sent a completely different model that what is pictured and listed in the product details. It does not bear any safety markings accepted in the US so use at your own risk, it is a cheep knockoff power supply. I will say that it does work. Drawing 4A it will output 11.93V and no load it is pushing 12.4 volts. It is within a 5% tolerance for such a cheep power supply. It gets only slightly warm at 4A as well. I bought the product specifically for the pair of wires shown going to the barrel jack. This is important if planning on using the supply for something else. Instead it has a coax cable. A let down but for less than 9 dollars I won't fret over it.

The page says "Sabrent AD-LCD12" with the illustration showing a UL-rated power supply and a 3-prong IEC power cord. The packing materials even say "Sabrent AD-LCD12".

What was supplied was a no-name "STI-008-025" power supply using a non-grounded 2-prong power cord. It has meaningless CE, "Safety Mark", and Rapu Buca Argentina marks on it - but no meaningful UL mark. Given that I purchased this to power some permanently-installed LED lighting, the product is useless to me without the certifications shown on the product description. The faceplate voltage and rated amperage are equivalent, but I'm not even sure I trust those values.

This seller is committing fraud. I will be returning this product with prejudice and seeking a full refund.

The 12V DC, 5A power adapter on our AudioVox FPE2000 20" TV/Computer monitor caused objectionable AM radio interference, so based on positive reviews here at amazon.com I ordered this one as a replacement:

0. I'm happy to report that this model does not interfere with AM radio.
1. Unfortunately, it does cause annoying diagonal interference lines on the TV screen (as if the tuner was overdriven). The dancing, diagonal lines run from the top right corner of the display to the lower left corner.
2. Also, while under load, this adapter completely knocks out our X-10 Home Automation System. Remote controlled lamps and appliances simply will not turn on or off until you shut the TV off.

How do I know the Kinmax AC power adapter is at fault? Neither of these two symptoms occur when the same TV is powered off of a bench supply (which works perfectly). Neither of these two symptoms occur when the same TV is powered off of the original power adapter (which knocks out AM radio).

As a result, I only give it one star. It works, but not very well.
