First of all, the item that is sent will NOT be the item in the picture. However the tuner still works. When I first installed the tuner, it crashed my computer. Apparently the driver did not agree with windows, and the driver recommended by windows will not work with the tuner. Nevertheless, after a few hours of messing with the driver, it eventually worked and it's been working perfectly ever since. By the way, just to clarify about video quality, for normal viewing, it's the best tuner under 30 dollars with a remote. But if you want to record, the video will not be so good, it'll be really fuzzy if you're use to dvd quality videos. And also, it will not work with Media Center (not the OS, but the program), which is quite disappointing. You should buy this only if you have the patience and technical experience to adjust those settings.

General: This is an analog tuner; does not have digital. There is an OEM version of this card on some other sites for $20 or less while Amazon carries the full retail version. It appears to me that the OEM version does not have: an FM antenna, the receiving sensor for the remote, and a cable to take the TV card's line out to the sound card line in. Unless you have those around stick with the retail box version.

Win 98/ME: The CD that comes with the current retail version seems to have the right drivers. However, the application software on the CD for any tv,dvr,or radio functions apparently works only on XP or Vista. Download Phillps_Drivers.zip from [...] Although the OS is indicated as XP and the name implies just drivers, it apparently has all files from a version of the CD from around 2005, which includes software which works on WinME. I got up and running by first using the CD that came in the box, which I believe did install drivers, but then ran into problems. I downloaded the Phillips file, ran setup and followed the instructions and it's been running fine on a WinME 900MHz Celeron with 256K and a CRT monitor. TV quality is probably a little better than a CRT TV. FM radio works fine. I have not tried the recording functions. Overall a cheap way to get an extra TV using an underutilized PC.

I had to rate this product a one star. I purchased this device primarily to receive live FM radio on my PC and after two cards it still will not receive a single station. I have tried the card on an existing XP home computer and a computer that was just rebuilt with a fresh install of XP home to no avail. I was able to get the card to work for TV reception (cable) and use of the remote with both cards, but this is not why I purchased the product. The software that comes with the product is very poor and there is no support online that I could find. I do need to say that Amazon has been great with respect to fast shipping and prompt exchange policies. Unfortunately I am still trying to find a way to hear local radio stations in real time via my computer. If anyone has some ideas they will be greatly appriciated. Oh and price was a big plus when trying this card and is in any future endevors, I know there are many TV cards with FM capabilities in the $70 and up range but this will not work for me as I just want the FM radio reception.

Bad news. I got Vista 64 to accept the driver supplied off the web site.

The supplied tv software was a joke - just fuzz. Windows Media Center woulnt recognize the tuner card no matter what. 3 hours later I threw in the towel and much to their credit Amazon just credted my card nad sai throw it out ! Junk. Junk. Junk.

I ordered this item on the basis that it offer FM radio capability. This feature was clearly stated in the product description WITH NO MENTION OF IT BEING AN OPTION. The name of the item includes the phrase "FM Radio PCI Card"
When I got the item it did NOT have FM capability and the supporting documentation indicated that it is an option on certain models only.
This error was extremely upsetting to me since I am unable to return the item (because it was taken out of the USA).

At the beginning it doesn't worked well with the drivers and software on the CD, so I downloaded the Drivers and software from [...], after installation of this drivers and TV Expert software i found an issue, when i up channels the sounds doesn't tune, so I installed just the drivers from the cd and restart the computer, everything works fine after doing this, It took me some time to setup the audio to be controlled from the remote but the card works fine, a suggestion for sabrent.com: change the driver on the website by the ones on the CD.
I prefer the software that is on the CD but the remote doesn't work with this software, i think that you can achieved this messing around with the remote control driver. If I find the way of use the software on the CD I'll post my discovery because TV expert software doesn't control the Radio feature.

Worth it for the price.

Great Customer service. The card had issues with my PC and I was just about to write it off. When I received a call from the card supplier. I had left a poor feedback rating for the tv card and out of no where. The supplier called me because of my feedback. They were very concerned because of the feedback and refunded my credit card payment during the call and even told me to keep the tv card.

My faith in humanity has been restored....at least with this purchase. Thank You !!!

I wasnt satisfied with the product It arranged the tv channels in its own order picture quality is good but the sound is too low and I really Sabrent SBT-TVFM TV Tuner/Video Capture/FM Radio PCI Card with Remote Control have too press my ears too the speakers too hear. Some channels appeared plank despite running the scan. I am not satisfied with this product.

This TV tuner works fine and easy to setup. Actually, I don't need to read instruction to do setup. The TV quality is acceptable and remote control works as good as It is. The only one thing that I disappoint this TV tuner is noise sound "boom boom" all time that make me feel pain my ear. I have to take out of this product from my computer because of the noise as hell.Not recommend it.
