5.0 out of 5 stars Clear and inspiring!
Fr. Kurt is one of my all-time favorite sacramental theologians. I had him for two courses on the sacraments, and his clear and inspiring discussion of the sacraments has served me well in my spiritual life, my further theological studies, and in my professional life as high school religion teacher and college theology professor. I highly recommend this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good book for Sacramental Basics
The book is well written. However, the author leans a little on the modernist side. He calls into question the historicity of parts of Sacred Scripture which is contrary to the Catechism. If we can't rely on the Gospels being a historically accurate portrait of Christ, then what can we rely on?

A very good book. But, difficult to read because all the pages fell out of the book bind...poor glue used. If you can get over this, the book is quite informative.
