This book addresses an important subject which we in the Black Church need to take more seriously in the 21st Century. I find that it shares insightful techniques that will go a long way in helping us do more in making disciples instead of making converts. I recommend it!

The Sacred Art is a superb book that can advance believers and move nonbelievers to become mature disciples for JESUS CHRIST. Dr Turner's first sentence to last sentence is a call and plan to action to set anyone on the path to become stronger and faithful servants of GOD. It is a book that is welcomed as it give a greater insight to gain the foundation or the basics to become a healthy disciple; the response and result of harvesting or "soul winning" for the Church and the power to engage in spiritual warfare in our everyday lives. As the Dr Turner states, "each believer has a GOD calling responsibility to fully represent CHRIST in a contaminated and sinful world... To lift JESUS up is to walk in HIS ways and to live out HIS purpose; this is the focus of discipleship. I highly recommend this remarkably and expressly purpose focus discipleship book for your library.
