"Sacred Dreams" is the perfect CD to listen to when you want to be reminded that life consits of more than just the mundane. Scott August has created a soundscape that allows the mind to travel to it's own sacred places...be they on the rim of a canyon or in the heart of an old memory. With each listen I am continually amazed at where I end up. From the first note, right through to the last, August has created music that echoes the heart of life's journey.
For anyone who wants to reconnect, who wishes to catch flight on an echoing memory, who understands the journeys we all take--"Sacred Dreams" is music that will transport and transform you.

Bottom line:: highly recommended

Once again, Scott has been able to transport the listener to places unknown and only imagined. Mystical voices, and the sounds of beautiful haunting flutes form a trapistry of textures in sound that have given this work of art, a soul all it's own. A must have for quiet moments, reflection and meditation.

i was listening to itunes radio and heard the song
Sedona Sunrise. I was in awe from the beauty of this piece.
I am 17 years old and i listen to hardcore and metal and
all that fun stuff but listening to this brings me to a place
where i can relax and realize that there is other music.
I HIGHLY recommend this cd to anyone at any age. :)

I spent an entire summer back in '71 on the Navajo Indian Reservation. This album takes me back there. I love the Southwest and I love the Native people. The Native music reconnects me to that area and those wonderful people.

Scott continues to be one of the top flute players. This album provides one of the best mixes of music which can only take your mind for a pleasant wonder. Must own!

All of Scott August's recordings are great. Sacred Dreams is good. Although, I would suggest getting Distant Spirits if you are new to this artist.
