What a gift ! I feel incredibly fortunate to have been given the gift of the Gordon's 20th anniversary compilation album Sacred Drum Visions from my wife for the holidays. It is trully an exceptional collection and likely my favorite of the all the Gordon's releases thus far, as it contains many of the best tracks from their incredible highly-acclaimed native music series including Sacred Earth Drums, Sacred Spirit Drums and Drum Medicine as well as 3 magnificent new tracks. The Gordon brothers music has really evolved in a number of unique ways over the years. And though their music stems from a native American influence it artfully combines sounds and instumentation from many indigenous cultures from around the world, making their sound trully universal; and this clearly shines through in this compilation. Perhaps the best thing about this particular release is the perfectly sequenced flow of each track into the next creating a sonic journey that reaches back in time and trancends the mundane world taking the listener on a journey of the Spirit and the Imagination. The 3 new tracks are really exceptional gems. I particularly like Faithkeeper Part I, which opens the CD and Light of the Canyon, the jewel within the center of these tracks. This CD is far more than a retrospective of the Gordon's amazing body of work, it is a powerful, transformative and healing musical journey of the heart. I highly recommend it.

The Gordons know how to relax you. Great listening pleasure with a light Native American touch. This particular CD spans their music career from there previous CD's plus 3 new ones.

This album ins truly a great way to relax and let the stresses of the day melt away. Great blends of chant and drums along with so many other wonderful world instrumental sounds help me to escape to a place of meditation easily. Thank You! Another favorite is Shaman's Vision Journey, highly recommended as well.

This album compiles some of the best of the Gordon Brother's world-fusion drumming titles. I think this is perfect for someone not quite sure which album of theirs to start with! Great for meditation or massage, Love It!! Check out Sacred Earth Drums too for a great drumming experience.

Great music takes me away from the here and now. Listening to this CD takes me back to my wonderful vacation in Sante Fe, New Mexico. When I hear those gentle drum beats, I'm back at Bandolier National Park, envisioning the Indians living in their rock houses. Or, I'm back at Pecos National Park, envisioning the Indians living.

There is something magical about the healing rhythms on this CD. I usually listen to it after I've spent the day outside kayaking or hiking. It's the perfect way to end a day spent in nature.

I highly recommend this CD for anyone looking for a magical, mystical listening experience.

What I can hear of this cd, is very good. However it is scratched and will not play through in either of the two cd players in my home or vehicle. I have learned my lesson about ordering "like new" copies of cd's. From now on I will order only new originals.
