I am grateful to have found Laura Chandler and Dr. Isa Gucciardi's Sacred Drums CD for the Shamanic Journey. I have maintained a shamanic journey practice for over a decade and this is the best CD for journeying that I have found to date. The recording captures the overtones of the drum which helps transport you on your journey. The tone of the drum is also exceptional. I like the different track choices to journey by - a single drum track, double drum track, rattle track. There are also different length journeys, and best of all a track that you can program to make any length journey you want. This CD has something for everyone!

I really like this CD. It is the best one yet that I have found for journeying. The sound of the drum is as close to a live drum as I have heard in a recording and it captures the over and under tones beautifully. The artwork and sentiments of the makers of the album are a nice touch too.

This is an excellent tool to load up on your iPod and practice your journeying, especially at a beginner level. You can set up the play list on your favorite player to do a complete cycle of the invocation, journey drumming, callback, and closing.

An essential part of a portable shamanic kit! :)

Wow! This is a transformative CD! Anyone who has a shamanic journey practice should buy this CD for themselves and all of their friends. I had the Harner one, but this one seems deeper. I don't know if it's how it was recroded or what, but I am really happy with it. Also, I like the option to be able to design my own length CD and the choice of a 15 minute rattle journey!

The drumming on this CD is just WAY too fast. I've experienced much slower drumming, which is more hypnotic, a much quicker trip to that relaxed state that we need to journey. The speed of this drumming is so hyper that there's no hope to slow down your thoughts or allow a calm centering. If I had been able to listen to a bit of it before I purchased it, I never would have wasted my money.

This CD has exactly what I was looking for in shamanic journey drumming.

Must of the recording seem to be a loop of the same, but the sound quality is good. Helpful to people new to the subject.

This is a good quality CD to assist in journeying. With the different tracks I won't get so bored listening to them. I plan to rip the tracks onto an MP3, pop the player in my pocket, and take it with me on business trips, vacation, or wherever so I can journey (AKA 'meditate') without disturbing anyone else. If someone wants to know what I'm listening to, I can tell them James Taylor.

This is a great CD to help you on the journey to find your power animal. I bought this as a gift for a person just beginning her journey; she loves it.

This CD is a good accompaniment for a journey, with choices of tracks.
