I got to meet the artist in Sedona, AZ. He was playing live uptown - his music drew me in; it was so spellbinding! He is a Grammy-nominated musician and a nice guy, to boot. Back to the cd at hand - I play it all the time. It is perfect music to relax to...I even use it to chill out when I'm dealing with the horrific Southern California traffic. It has helped me SO much - it sends me right back to Sedona. This is the perfect cd to use to meditate - it would even be good to use to lull yourself to sleep. However, so far I've only used it during waking hours. It helps me manage my stress level so much; when the first haunting flute notes start, I feel my blood pressure lower immediately. I keep hoping Kelvin comes out with more music soon - very talented young man!!

It takes a sacred heart & soul to create "Sacred Fire", & Kelvin Mockingbird certainly did! The music takes you to a place of peace, internal balance and easily makes you let go of all your tensions and focuses on a magical universal connection. This is beautiful music. I can listen to this on repeat continuously. This is simple, melodic, relaxing Native American flute. For the most part, the notes are low and meditative with a slight canyon echo effect. I've heard plenty of Native American flute music but this man is simply enchanting. His style is unique and cannot be duplicated. He's like the Jimi Hendrix of Native American flute. This CD will turn your entire body into jelly and if you're lying down, you will fall asleep for sure. One of the songs is a bit more up-beat and would give you an energetic jolt, but it's still fantastic and will really illustrate Kelvin Mockingbird's talent. I love this guy! I wish he had a lot more albums.

The music on this cd is sublime. Close your eyes, put yourself in a tropical forest and go on a wonderful journey.

What a talented artist! Beautifully executed! Used in group meditation-great feedback on how relaxed the members became and came away with peace & serenity! Love it!
