I just found this book to be really healing and powerful and insightful in the way that it describes vividly the transformative power of fire- looking at fear, the phoenix rising. just incredible stuff.

I own Maril Crabtree's book Sacred Feathers which I thought was fantastic and have given several copies to friends as gifts. While I found some of the stories in Sacred Fire interesting, I was somewhat dissapointed in the book overall.
