Sacred Mountain, Encounters with the Viet Nam Beast is a valuable work of knowledge and heart. Dr. Tick has explored the depths of the psyche for over 25 years and touches places in heart and mind that few people are willing to venture into. The depth of trauma experienced by those people who participated in the Viet Nam-American War is at a Soul level. Dr. Tick works on that level to bring about knowledge and healing in a time healing is especially necessary. This book is excellent and sheds light on the darkness.

This book helped me have clarity about the behavior of Vietnam era vets like my late husband and the returning in country vets I know now. It also is helping develop programs for military returning from Iraq.
