This review is from: Sacred Stone (Medieval Murderers Group 6) (Paperback)
This is the weakest of the Medieval Murderers mysteries. Michael Jecks is absent this time and it shows. The story line is that of a sacred sky stone fallen from the sky in Greenland in the the year after the battle of Hastings. The stone stays in the hand of one man for another 43 years, before becoming the reason for murder in the weakest chapter in the book featuring Geoffrey Mappestone. The story follows the stone from 1067 to 2010, encountering the Jewish Community in 1241,Henry III, The King's Players in the time of James I of England, up to modern times. This reviewer hopes that if they write another book, Michael Jecks will be able to contribute.
