Written by numerous writers, the book tells of how water in nature has guided the writers to a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in life. From the gentle rocking waters of the womb to the wells of water from which we survive to various places beside or in earth's bodies of water to rivers that carry the creamated remains of loved ones, water is our life, not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually. These writers have revealed to the reader widely varied, personal, transformative experiences .Water had inspired in their lives. The stories are inspiring, uplifting, and calming...just as is water. A good book to inspire meditation and renewal.

This book was nothing at all like the title. I found nothing at all which talked about hte sacred affects of water. The cover is beautiful, but I really felt like I wasted my 5 dollars. The print was so tiny I needed a magnifying glass just to read it. My husband felt the same way and I have good eyes! The entire book was short stories about other peoples experiences with water but nothing that was interesting. This is just my opinion.... Debbie

I have been fascinated by seas, rivers, cascades and watery landscapes all my life. The book and its many stories spoke to my soul. I really enjoyed how so many authors felt the tides and movement of the waters in its different forms. I submerged in every page and became renewed. Maril Crabtree did an outstanding job with her stories and the ones she added to this book. Thanks.
