Book Description

Mini-eBook about turning wounds into wisdom.
We break the chains of victimhood, turning wounds into wisdom, when we go from ReAction to Creation. I didn’t come to terms with the idea of the sacred wound until I had come full circle, when everything I thought had been bad, I now saw as good. Not that what had been bad now seemed good, but I could see why I might have created the experience. Or why my soul might have led me to creating the experience. Because it was something I needed in order to grow. I had found a reasoning behind the events. And so a burden was lifted. And I felt lighter.
When I stopped resisting, I could see past the wound. When I stopped judging, I could see past judgments, even past my own pain.
We are not helpless; we are dancers in the shifting sands of this reality. Dancers continually strive for balance and harmony. It is mostly unconscious since they have already learned to move from their center of gravity so that all the parts combine in a synergy of communion. Life too, is a dance where we are the choreographers and designers of sets we may dance through lightly with grace, or with the heaviness of struggle. Whether or not we can make those daring leaps across the stage of life might come down to how much we’ve practiced the inner dance through the negatively of lower vibrations.

More About the Author

Nancy Wait was born in Chicago and grew up in New York City where she studied acting at Performing Arts and Carnegie-Mellon before moving to London in 1969 to study at RADA and have a career in England (1970s as Nancie Wait), in film (Au-Pair Girls), television and theater. She returned to NYC and became a painter during the 1980s (portraits, architectural renderings, soul visions), and moved into writing in the late 90s when she began her memoir. What she finds so thrilling about her experience of writing, was how she managed during the process to actually solve the mystery that had plagued her most of her life. She believes it was by using her inherent intuitive abilities as well as by accessing her Higher Self, or Soul Consciousness. Hence her statement at the end of the book, "Betrayal is sacred when the heart can encompass the whole." Nancy is currently working on a sequel to her first book. She works as a writing coach and editor, and hosts a blog talk radio show called Inspirational Storytellers.
