The Sacred Yes,
By
This review is from: The Sacred Yes: Letters from the Infinite (Hardcover)
"The Sacred Yes" is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. It is packed with deep wisdom from the Divine, offering a new slant on basic Truth principles and flipping many of them 360° so that they finally make sense. Filled with optimism, love and hope, the text also challenges us to wake up from our slumber and recognize that God is everywhere present, available to each one of us in equal measure. This is a book to be savored and cherished, pondered and acted upon. Deborah Johnson is surely a prophet for the 21st Century. She and her book are a joy to behold!!

Here's my review from the earlier edition of the book. It is a blessing that Sounds True has decided to publish it and offer is as a book and CD.
God spoke to Rev. Deborah Johnson in the form of letters. Here she shares this "correspondence," which she has organized and edited brilliantly. Every page and virtually every paragraph shimmer with revelations and wisdom, easily accessible and at the same time loving, profound and life-altering. I wish I could give this book to everyone on our planet. It would be a happier world. How fortunate we are that this book is the first of a series planned by the author.

An Incredibly Insightful Book!!!,
By Tyler (Santa Cruz, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Sacred Yes: Letters from the Infinite (Hardcover)
I cannot say enough good things about this book. If you have read "Conversations With God," this book is a must. Rev Deb actually collaborated with Neale Donald Walsch while writing this book. The truthes shared and expresses are so fundamental and "right on" that it is impossible to deny their existence in our lives. A must read for all people looking for ways to become closer to the God not defined by Christianity &/or all other Spiritual Travelers.
***Note to the first reviewer: Buy The Book! I have not heard the audio CD's, but have heard Rev Deb speak many times. Her speaches and sermons are incredible and infectious. Therefore I cannot fathom that the CD's would be so bad, but bringing down her book's rating for technical issues and related opionions is not nice. I suppose I could see how if one is not used to listening to a soulful blcak woman speak, it could be a bit hard on the ears.

Letters from the Infinite by Deborah L. Johnson,
By Faye Majette (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Letters from the Infinite: The Sacred Yes (Paperback)
The message this book delivers resonates totally with my belief system. While it supports that Jesus lived and brought a powerful message to mankind, it puts spirituality, religion and the church in proper perspective. Is also provides insight into the true meaning of life and the individual's relationship to the infinite...to God. I challenge other spiritually minded people to read this book and not be affected by the message. I cherish this book will keep it as a resource.

Inspiration and Tools for Living,
By "jbr0109" (Santa Cruz, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Letters from the Infinite: The Sacred Yes (Paperback)
Reverend Deborah L. Johnson brings us messages from Spirit that talk to our hearts, minds, and souls to help us embrace our inherent wholeness. This book is a practical tool to use daily as a reminder of who we are and how to live in the world as "spiritual beings having a human experience." The letters are organized in sections to help us easily choose a topic for our current need or interest. Iyanla Vanzant recommended this book in her June 2004 column in Essence magazine. I recommend it for anyone who is interested in finding wisdom to live by and inspiration for daily life. If you liked Neale Donald Walsh's Conversations With God books, you'll love this one, too.

Spirituality without "religion",
By Jim C. Felich (Santa Cruz, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Letters from the Infinite: The Sacred Yes (Paperback)
I was fed up with religious dogma. I wanted to find a basis for spirituality that applied to the present as well as the past. "Letters from the Infinite" provides that basis and goes on to explain how to apply that spirituality to my everyday life by using its 'Tools for Living'. These are practical steps that anyone can take to open themselves to their God. It explains that God is good, all of the time and that we are perfect, whole, and complete right now. Then it explains why we can't stay that way. Why we must continue to open ourselves to more fully enjoy our selves, our relationships, and our lives.I highly recommend this book. I believe that anyone who has a desire to find the higher meaning of life must read this book, regardless of where they are on their spiritual path.

What Rev. Deborah Johnson reveals in The Sacred Yes is beyond what I thought was possible, yet I believe it! Could it be that God or Spirit is talking directly to her? YES! This is amazing! I know Rev. Johnson and she is even more amazing in person. This book is the one book of all books to own! The spiritual journey it takes you on is incredible, yet so valuable and life-changing! Each letter can be read separately, which makes reading it simpler. Yet there is nothing simple about this book. It is deep! I highly recommend this book to people of all faiths!

Good book. Audible or CD version review:
Automatic writing based book so it's wasn't in her own words but the audio version is that bad. If you ever heard a preacher trying to shove something, like doctrine, down your throat and it bothers you don't buy the audio CDs or audible. No esteemed Godly American should need an intermediary between you and God. I agree with others trying to make the same point that the narration is worse I have seen in Any book. Try the kindle version or the book itself. I'd rather hear kindle text to voice {computer generated voice} than hear than that women reading an automatic writing version portrayal this book. My recommendation is to buy the Book itself or the Kindle edition even if it may be more expensive than the CDs or Audible version. Again, it's that bad.

Changed my life,

This review is from: The Sacred Yes: Letters from the Infinite (Hardcover)
This book has radically changed my perception of God and of the world I exist in. Wracked up in the dogma practiced by the religion of my youth, I had been left void of any understanding of what Spirituality really meant to me. I'm on my fifth turn reading this pinnacle message and I can say that I am now One with my higher power and at peace with myself. No. This book did not change all of this by merely reading it. I also had to live it. And what an amazing ride of acceptance, joy, and love it's been.
