Even just hearing Father Ted's resonant and mellifluous voice imbues one with a profound sense of charity and rejuvenation of faith. Reading about Father Ted's lifetime of service and uncommon compassion will instill you with joy and inspiration. Every reader will experience and enjoy the uplifting impact of Father Ted's lifelong magnificent devotion to humanity. All the good works of this truly "Quiet Giant of a Man" among us are expertly depicted inside this book and they are sure to fulfill you with a profound reassurance that the Spirit of God is alive and well on earth.
His work as a war time Chaplin making sure that all men regardless of religious denomination were given the same Godly advice.was evident throughout the book. His rise in the ranks is a tribute to all members of the clergy.
I gave the book 5 stars because there are not very many men with his credentials in our society. .
Once I began reading it, I couldn't put it down.Especially engaging was the chapter on Terri Schiavo. The details presented were so much more than the public was ever fed by the media. I believe the public would have a different opinion about Terri and her disability if they knew the true facts surrounding her situation. He was there and should know the truth.
It is a sincere representation of one man's character formed by the love of God and the guidance and support of his family. His dedication and pride in his serivce to our country is also evident.
Clearly evident also is his support and love for the Catholic Church and his pastoral ministry.

Fascinating read.. One major highlight is a very complete and eye-opening account of the murder of Terry Schiavo (Monsignor Malanowski was Terry's spiritual advisor.).Published 1 month ago by David K.
I knew Monsignor Malanowski when he was a young Army Chaplain in Germany. He was a very nice person.
And he was a pretty good basketball player, as well.
