Sacrificial Circumcision builds upon Nersesian's legacy and the Five Books of Moses,
By
This review is from: The Sacrificial Circumcision of the Bronx (Hardcover)
I spent a few months eagerly awaiting the release of the second edition to Arthur Nersesian's Five Books of Moses series. When I finally sat down to read it the pages flew by. Nersesian introduces a second key character to the plot line, Paul Moses, the brother of real life mogul Robert Moses, to parallel a confused and still lost Uli.
The stories intertwine each other throughout the novel as Nersesian advances the real time scheme while giving light to the back story that created the parallel universe that is Nersesian's Rescue City. If you've read any of Nersesian's work and enjoyed it then pick up Swing Voter of Staten Island immediately. If you already read Swing Voter then you should be eagerly awaiting this one, and you won't be disappointed.

I've been reading Nersesian since I lived in the East Village of New York about 5 years back. I've enjoyed most of his books, I luckily came across the Swing Voter of Staten Island at Powell's Books in Portland, I really liked that book a lot so this made me pretty excited.
I just finished the book this morning, I don't want to give anything away, but I liked it, it wasn't as good as the first book of Moses, but it was still very enjoyable and I liked the interweaving of the two stories, but I would have liked to see more of Uli in the book. If you haven't read any Arthur Nersesian before, don't start here, if you've read the Swing Voter of Staten Island and liked it you should also like this

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun read and thus a quick one. While it is better written that "The Swing Voter of Staten Island" that book is best read first. Eagerly the next book in this apparent five book series.
