I also came across this album by chance, and agree that it is quite an interesting album. Each song is somewhat different in style, but all are linked by a kind of reflectiveness that pervades the whole album. I'd describe the sound as a nice blend of the best of electronica, shoegazing, and freak folk. The first track has a very low bass drum beat that would interest folks who love to test their sound systems. But the singing and production is so darn good, you should just listen for enjoyment!

I heard of Stars on my local radio station and their song "Undertow". I was immediately hooked and within the next day I had boughten this CD from their site. It is an amazing EP, an interweaving of beautiul lyrics, calming vocals, and extremely catchy melodies. There's nothing bad to say about this EP, it is downright enchanting.

This EP rocks. Definitely check out all of Stars' catalog, because they are extremely talented musicians. 'Heart' and 'In Our Bedroom After the War' are fantastic albums. I look forward to catching them on tour this fall.
