A moving story,
By A Customer
This review is from: Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes (Audio CD)
This is a moving story, beautifully narrated. If you are a fan of George Winston, however, the narrative is too distracting, and it sadly drowns instead of marrys his beautiful music. A less sensitive critic might say this CD sounds like a Yoko Ono bedtime story, but I won't go there. Choose another George Winston selection, UNLESS you are in search of the story.

Sensitive lament,

Hearing the news of the disaster in Japan brought to mind this gift to me as well as several Sadako books I own. While I understand the criticisms I find this a lovely meditation. I play it for that purpose and judging from the pending nuclear disaster as well as the on going news of tsunami and earthquake I will be ensconced in deep prayer and meditation. Tonight I intend to play this and walk as I prepare to rest.
We are so fragile as beings. Sometimes things like this remind us of that. This is a work of our life force answering back into the void.

Although, the voice isn't so beautiful. The voice is unclear. Maybetheir are albums out there with more more clarity in the voice?
