5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!
If i could i would give this game 5 million stars!
I have won this game and i really enjoied it.
I watch the Saddle Club movies and the television show all the time so i figured why not play the game. Many people think this is a little kid game but it really isn't. It is challenging and it keeps you thinking.

3.0 out of 5 stars Do you like the theme from It's A Small World?
If yes, you will love this game. The music just drives me nuts, although I have to admit that my little Audrey seems oblivious to it. If you pay attention to what the child is saying and ignore your adult critical impulses, I think you might agree with me that Saddle Club is a good game. The animation is clunky and the game is maddening until you figure out the...

I really liked how this game correctly shows how much responsibility and care it takes to give them proper care! Some of the other horse games that i have played don't focus on the care aspect of horses and i liked how this game did.
I would suggest this game to anyone over the age of 9 because some of the content is a bit scary and might frighten the younger kids.
This game is wonderful! A great gift for any kid!

i havn't finished yet i am stuck in the bit in the mine where you have to open the cavern.so please help me if you have finished the game.so far i rate 5 but some parts are very hard.i am going to help a few of you out.
when you are in the castle and trying to find the golden object it is behind the first little shed.
when you have to go back to bruce the next day to get the key you have to talk to him and when you finished talking you have the key.so then return to the church.
when you are told to turn left on the road away from the lighthouse you should see a ship wreck.there is a sign.go up to the sign.then do what your dairy tells you to do.if you end up at derrick he tells you to come back the next day.go back to the sign and not far from it is a green bottle.go up to the bottle.then just ride out to the wreck and hanging on the boat is a golden horse shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars URGENT!!! I really need help., December 27, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Saddle Club: Willowbrook Stables (CD-ROM)
Okay,um,I have noticed people have gotten stuck at these parts, so I'm going to help you out:
1)The golden object at the castle: When you enter the castle, you will see 2 little house thingys. Go to the one on the left, get off your horse, and walk around the back, then she talks.
2)The shining light above the sea: Surprisingly, this has NOTHING to do with a tree!!! Follow the instructions in your diary, and ride until you get to a little beach with a shipwreck. There is a little wooden sign on the beach. Get off your horse, and walk up to the sign. She talks. Follow the instructions in your diary, then go to the beach the next day. A little way away from the sign is a green bottle. Go up to the bottle, get off your horse and you can take it from there!!!
3)The key in the church door: Inside the church, go up to the left door. Your character should say "Cool! I found it!" DON"T MOVE!!!!!!!! I can't stress that enough!!! Your character then turns over the key, blah blah blah, you can go from there!! (I had to delete and start again 3 TIMES because I moved!!)
SOME FUN LITTLE CLUES:
1) If you press the left ALT button and the 0 on the number pad, you can go through ANY solid object, even water!!
2) If you press 'T' once, you are tacked up in seconds! ( But you have the green saddle pad.)
3)If you jump and quickly press 'C', you can take a picture of yourself in midair!!
4) My biggest hint is READ YOUR DIARY!!!! It holds a lot more than you think![...]

4.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, but a Good Game!, November 24, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Saddle Club: Willowbrook Stables (CD-ROM)
I bought this game for about $20 U.S. dollars at a local computer store about a year ago. I was eager to get the game home because I love the TV series.

*Pros*
1. You get to customise your horse's color.
2. You can pick your favorite character- Stevie, Lisa, or Carole
3. The graphics are outstanding! It's a TON of fun to gallop around the island recklessly until you finally run into a tree! Plus, the island is huge and SO MUCH FUN TO EXPLORE!! That's by far my favorite feature of the game.
4.Interact with other characters to solve a mystery.
5.Once again, ride through TONS of trails, lakes, swamps, and forests.

*Cons*
1. When you gallop really fast, the graphics tend to get choppy, as well as the sound.
2. Your horse has a tendency to get "stuck". You'll accidentally run into a corner of a place (especially in the castle), and your horse won't be able to get back out of it.
3. The days tend to be a little too short, especially when you start to really be "on a roll" in the game.
4. It takes a while to take care of your horse, especially when cleaning the stall.
5. Sometimes you get lost in the forest and it's really hard to get out, even with the map. It also takes a while.
6. You can only pick your horse's name from the original horses' names- either Belle, Prancer, or Starlight.

Overall, this was a great game and I really enjoyed it. The game runs on a day-to-day basis. You ride and take care of your horse to earn points. You also have to solve the mystery of who is trying to buy Willowbrook Stables.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game, July 16, 2004
A Kid's Review

I LOVE this game! It's really neat how there are so many different people and places you can see and visit. The only problem is that my game malfunctions a lot. Sometimes it will freeze, or a door that is supposed to open just won't. Usually if I quit and re-load it will fix itself. However, I'm stuck. If you've played this game, PLEASE, PLEASE help me. I've opened the cavern in the mine, found the horseshoe, and Penman has just stolen it. The game clues still say "Make your way out of the mine," but I'm already out. I don't know if my game is malfunctioning or what! If you know what to do next, please tell me! Other than that, this game is GREAT!

5.0 out of 5 stars This game is NOT THAT HARD!, June 28, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Saddle Club: Willowbrook Stables (CD-ROM)
I'm 12 years old I beat this game 2 years ago. IT IS NOT HARD! After you get a few things finished the rest of the game is simple. The gold object in the castle is behind the little house thingy. The shining lights above the sea means go talk to Cynthia! My bigest clue is READ YOUR DIARY!!!!!!

I think the game is great. I thoght it was anoying that you alway had to groom and feed your horse. But you don't alwas HAVE to clean the stall i beat the game without hardly cleaning the stall.

I think it was rather anoying that it took so long to load. And when you made the graphics look better, the horse move choppy.

A fun little bug is that when you push the left Alt. button and the 0 on the number pad you can go backwards through any solid object. Even water!

I would give this game 1000000 stars if I could but I can't.

So if you love horses and the saddle club, spend the money and buy this game. (You'll eventually beat it!)

I had bought this game for my daughter who is a saddle club fan and a horse fan, but i have found myself addicted to this game. :) It is a pretty easy game to figure out for the most part, but i did get stuck a couple of times. I searched all over those trees across from the shipwreck thinking i needed to find a tree to open a secret door or something, but it has nothing to do with a tree at all. I accidentally found out that it was a message in a bottle that i had to look for, but i found it and went on with my adventure. I came on here to look at the reviews for the game because i remember when reading these reviews before that people were asking for help and that there were some answers for those questions. :) I am stuck at the church after getting the key in the door. I have wondered all over the church inside and out trying to see what to do next, but found nothing. Then when i came on here, i saw someone had said to stay at the door after you find the key, well, i've already moved. I'm really hoping i don't have to start all over again just to get to that part and not move. It is a great game though. My daughter also plays it all the time as well. It does become a bit annoying to have to clean the stall each night. I wish that they would have put the shovel, broom, & pitchfork a little closer to the stall than it already is. It gets annoying to have to run around and grab them and put them back individually.
