About the Author

Gurumayi Chidvilasananda is the spiritual head of the Siddha Yoga path. She is a Siddha Guru, a meditation Master, and the author of Courage and Contentment and The Yoga of Discipline. She has also written picture books for young children, including The Great Hiss; Frogs and Their Monster; and Good Night, Sweet Dreams, I Love You!

This is a gem of a book. It consist of some of the best talk meditation master Gurumayi Chidvilasananda has given over the years. This is the kind of book that you can open anywhere and every word rings with truth and wisdom.

I especially love the chapter on courage and contetment, just beautiful.

I have been reading this book and using the study guide for it chapter by chapter. I have just finished reading the chapter "Wake up to your inner courage and become steeped in divine contentment" I can honestly say a shift has happened within me. I feel more centered, calm, and trusting that I am with God and God is with me.

Some part of me use to always "worry" that I wasn't doing enough. If I was doing one thing, I always felt I "should" be doing something else. Now I feel that I am grounded in what I "am" doing and it is where I need to be. Also, I don't have to do it all in one day. I can see that if I do a little each day, it all gets done.

If you truly study and imbibe this book, be prepared for change in your life!
