I used this book to relief my 5 year old son's anxiety of going to the doctor. The animals characters are helped him see that they need to trust the doctor and take their medicine to get better. My son said, "doctors make us feel better".

I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE the Dr. Hippo series of books! They are a must have for any parent or those who care for young children.
The stories are easy to read and understand for children. The artwork is colorful, cheery and adoable. I found the parent information section in the back pocket a must have. I learn a lot about everyday ailments that I never knew before. I love these books! |
