Not worth the money...,

This review is from: Saeco MI-GL-04 Milk Island, 0.4 Liter (Kitchen)
First of, I used to be a big Saeco fan - I have used them for many years. But this milk island is just junk. As the other reviewers here report, it has a tendency to leak water in copious amounts after a few weeks of use. We actually sent ours in to Saeco (a sheer nightmare) and since we got it back, it does not leak anymore so this can be fixed. Good news, right? Well, if it only would froth the milk it would be great but it doesn't. Occasionally, like every 20th time or so, you get nice frothy milk. The other 19 times you get hot, runny milk with barely a film of froth. This is ridiculous. I have tried every type of milk there is and that doesn't make much of a difference. I will now have to buy one of the cheap little frothers to sit next to my $2,000 Saeco because that machine can't froth, milk island or wand!

Leaks like crazy,

This review is from: Saeco MI-GL-04 Milk Island, 0.4 Liter (Kitchen)
The little arm that attaches to the espresso machine leaks water like crazy. If I leave the machine on unattended, when I come back, there will be a puddle of water around this thing. It works very well, but the leaking is very annoying. Still, it makes great froth (though not as good as by hand).

Worked for a while,

At first this was a great little attachment for my Saeco machine. It made great froth and was easy to use and clean. But then a couple of months later it started malfunctioning and the indicator light was off all the time. Plus it started leaking, leaving water all over the counter top. Looking at it, I noticed an extremely flimsy and complicated mounting system that is bound to fail. They need to go back to the drawing board on this and make it more reliable.
