This machine was a replacement for a beloved Saeco Magic Deluxe which faithfully served great espresso for years. The machine does not disappoint. It looks great, although mostly plastic. The buttons are a bit flimsy and I wish it could accept ground coffee rather than beans-only. The espresso is superb and you can't really go wrong with this unit.

this coffee machine has saved my wife and I at least $80 in the month that we have had it. It is easy to use, even though the instructions that come with it were a little vague, once you use it a couple times there are no more problems. The only little thing I would change about it is that you cannot froth milk at the same time as pulling shots but considering this feature would cost another $200-$300 I can definitely live without it. makes great tasting coffee and was a great purchase.

I bought this on a Friday sale for a great discount over normal price. However, I was underwhelmed by the quality as soon as I took it out of the box. Almost all parts are made of cheap plastic. Several controls are unintuitive and accessible only by opening coffee bean tank. Manual is poorly written.

Most importantly the machine started breaking down within one month and completely stopped working in 6 weeks.

The company has poor customer service with long wait times. They don't pay for shipping for warranty service. Be careful if you decide to buy this and don't throw away the packaging materials. They make you pay for those too.

I purchased two of these espresso makers almost three years ago. One for home and one for the office. After the first year in a commercial environment with over 30 employees using all day long, the pump was not pumping so well. Very easy return to a local repair center to inspect and fix. Same problem happened one year later. I will now assume that I simply need to send it in once per year in our commercial installation. For less than $100 for the service I consider it a deal. We have saved our employees a ton of money with this unit. We clean it daily.

I have not had any problems with the unit I purchased for home use, with the exception that the plastic power button is now broken, not the switch, but the plastic piece that pushes in the switch. No biggie. Would be nice if they used more rigid buttons. Would have expected at the office, but not on the one I am using at home. Still giving it 5 stars.

Great time saver. It is especially amazing since it seems to have been designed by mediocre engineers. Some of the parts and connections are designed poorly and sub-optimally. It seems like a first generation that needs improvement.
Once in a while it give an error - so my wife takes the removable parts out, cleans a clogged orifice or two and the machine works again. Sometimes it needs a kick to push the bottom cup stand INWARDS, otherwise it gives out an error. But with all that, the machine works for good couple years, producing 3-4 cups of great coffee every morning.
The temperature of coffee is optimal, the taste is great.

A couple more tips: don't try to put their a ground coffee - it clogs the system.
Quality of coffee drink corresponds to the quality of beans. We normally go with Columbian medium roast, moderately priced.

This machine has been problematic from the beginning. I'm stubborn, so I've tried for one year to keep up with the maintenance and make the machine work properly. I'm finally ready to give up. If you decide to buy, read the maintenance instructions VERY carefully and do everything it tells you to do...good luck!

Great product, for coffee lovers.

It makes coffee just like in the big coffee shops. You put the coffee beans, water and it does the rest, pouring great coffees!
