This is yet another high-quality product from Safari's wolf line. Like the howling, dark-grey wolf, this one has a 4-digit number stamped on its hind-leg which may be detracting. Overall though, it's a beautiful representation of a wolf.

You should also note that Safari wolves tend to run a little larger than Schleich or PAPO wolves. You can still use them together but it's worth mentioning.

I was really pleased to find this attractive white wolf quite realistic with the exception of one thing. 4 BIG NUMBERS on one of the rear legs. I normally would not mind such a thing in areas not that visible. But these big bold black numbers were on the rear leg side, visible in its perfect stance, quickly killing any realistic feeling about it. Why would they put such numbers on the outer visible area of this is beyond me(they could have put the numbers on its underbelly where it is not so visible. Although for a piece like this at this price point it is easily fixable with a little white paint.
Otherwise great item, 4 stars for inaccurate photo showing no numbers.

I found this toy so lovely and realistic that I put it on display instead of giving it as a gift. As a huge fan of wolves I found the realism wonderful.

In my home office lies a shelf that hosts various figurines. Knights and dragons, and now a wolf. He fits right in with the other toys. I was inspired to purchase him after reading the Song of Fire and Ice series, and his size compared to my human figurines makes him very direwolf-esque. This wolf is actually part of a toy animal series, but he fits my purposes quite well.

I saw this and HAD to have it. As the title says, it's a white wolf, most toy wolves are of the grey variety, never white like this one. My totem spirit is the white wolf,and my alltime favorite anime character is Kiba from Wolf's Rain, so I have an affinity towards them. This wolf is a little larger than the schliech one I purchased and is more detailed. I did notice the black numbers down the one hindleg, but on mine, they are not that large or noticable, but if it is a problem, then I'm sure a little white acrylic paint would cover it nicely. The texture of the fur is wonderful, very realistic, and the face is enchanting too. Overall, I really like this wolf, it's very cool and would make a nice gift for any wolf collector or fan.

My friend loves wolves and this was the perfect thing for her. She has it sitting on her desk. It came on-time and was in good shape.

This was a gift for my grandchild. It was much appreciated. It appears to be a well made item and I can see no problems with it. The seller was amazing and shipped the item immediately and it was received the next day!

Safari has done it again! I have purchased many of their fantastic figures in the past, but I have to say that this one is my favorite by far. This wolf figure is well detailed and has such a mysterious air about it. It's pose is very majestic and it's beautifully painted eyes seem to gaze deep down into your soul. It's coat is painted with a very lovely white too. I wish I could say this figure was totally flawless, but there is just one minor mistake. The company logo is stamped on one of it's hind legs and it's incredibly noticeable. But fortunately it can be remedied with some extra white paint. As for it's durability, I think it's very solid, even though I will not be using it for play. So don't be afraid to give it to your young child.

Very nice figurine, bought for my wife as she loves wolves. I dont see to many white ones so this was a must have. The item itself is very nice, but mine was not as detailed as the picture shown leads you to believe. The paint is off just enough to make you notice, but not so bad I would return it. maybe it was just the one I got. OK purchace. My wife liked it a lot, but shes not as picky as I am.
