Every castle must have a dragon to try and attack it, I bought this one for my daughters castle collection and it is so pretty that now it is the castle 'pet' I need to find her another scarier one for her knights to keep away. The dragon has a delicate look but is really very sturdy & well made. If you have a girl who is into the whole make belive castle type fantasy games this is a perfect dragon to give to her.

Our 3-year-old grandson squealed when he opened this Christmas gift. It really is beautiful (for a dragon). Our grandson has used him as a "bad guy" and a "good guy" when playing with his super heroes figures. Good size and good price.

My daughter is 13 and ordered this with a gift card and loves it. It got here sooner than expected also. She was a happy camper

This is a beautiful dragon, lots of details and nice colors. Even though we can see the joints between the different parts, they seem to be well assembled and well glued. I tried to pull the head off and it was solid. I couldn't take it off. Overall, this is a nice toy, good quality for the price and a great gift for a kid who loves dragons and fantasy world.

This is a nice little dragon that would be a fun play toy for children or an excellent sea monster for gaming. He has a lot of expression, is a very nice translucent model, and a great alternative to expensive metal models or game specific dragons available from miniature manufacturers. He is about 10" long if stretched out or in th 60 to 70 foot range compared to 25mm miniatures.

Beautiful vibrant colors. Power and emotion in the way it is posed as if moving and alive. For adults who like fantasy and mythology and for children who are imaginative and playful, going beyond say just T-rexes battling each other. Excellent. My favorite in the series.

The Safari Company makes the best dinosaur figures on the market. Their Wild Animals and Sea Creatures are superb as well. But the Sea Dragon along with several other mythical creatures has met a full market with a less than average figure.The toy is small compared to the dinosaurs.This was a sad mistake. The slightly transparent blue plastic is very good on this subject. But the over all sculpture lacks the life like imagination put into the dinosaurs.There are no destingtive facial or other features to make this stand out as a living animal,or to give it character.Its pose is stiff like a wood cut.There is no historical data on the tag. So the toy lacks any context or info to make it educational in any sence. To an adult collector,like me this is an intresting addition.But it is not the star of any display.

Our daughter loves dragons and really wanted one of the Skylander toy/video game set. That set was really expensive so we got her some of these unadvertised dragons. She totally loved them. The detail is very good. They are durable without being too heavy. Recommend this company for its other creatures as well.

First, this toy came much sooner than expected. It is a little darker than the picture and not as sparkly, but it is still very nice. I collect dragons and this is a great addition to my collection. I recommend all Safari products.

I had recently purchased a Safari Forest Dragon, and the quality was so excellent that I decided to purchase another dragon in this series. While I was browsing, this particular one caught my eye. So, I bought it of course! I received it promptly, and I am very happy with it. The dragon's sculpt is very life-like and the attention to detail is exquisite. From it's glittering scales, to it's slender, noble, head. It's eyes are also a nice, fiery, shade of red. As for it's underside, spikes, and claws. They have all been painted carefully with very luminescent, pearly white paint. Overall making this another beautiful dragon figure from Safari! If you love to collect dragons like I do, don't hesitate to add this one to your collection. If your intention is to give it to a child to play with, have no fear. I'm quite positive that this figure is very durable and can withstand any beating your child may deliver to it.
