I use this for my Maltese. He is about 3 months old and love's it. The brush is very gentle, but works really good. Highly recommend it for dogs with a lot of hair.

My shih-tzu loves her brush. On one side it is soft and the other side it helps take out her tangles. I use it everyday. Nice product.

I would highly recommend this brush. It is a quality brush, made very well. My dog loves it!

I purchased this with the safari comb and I love both products. We have a long haired German Sheppard and using both of them together helps shedding and helps give him a great coat. Recommend this dog owners!

I love this brush for my cats! It is very effective in removing hair compared to other brushes. It is effective on both short haired and long haired cats. The brush does get worn out pretty quickly depending on the number of animals and how much you use it. I will purchase replacement brushes!

Wow. I have a toy poodle and I bought the large because it wasn't terribly expensive compared to the medium but it's huge! It's handle is wood and sturdy and their are two sides to the brush (bristles and soft). Even though the brush is big it works even better on my poodle's tough curls.

I have a 15lb cockapoo and this brush is ideal. I mostly just use the wire brush side and it works great. My dog has a wooly, wavy coat and she doesn't shed at all, but this brush will work through any knots she has. Her coat has never looked so good. The plastic bristle brush I used before was just not right for her coat. This is perfect! I recommend this brush for any type dog - the wire brush is good for non-shedders to work out the mats and knots, and the other side is probably better if your dog sheds a lot! My dog actually likes being brushed now. :)

Great brush, I've order one in medium but it's still too big for my puppy (she's 15lbs now, with medium length coat).

She doesn't mind being brushed with this brush in all the easy to get places so I'm very happy with it. It does the job well. I'm using bristle on legs before I use the pin side to make it hurt less (if it hurts at all). However if you have a small puppy or dog buy two separate: pin and bristle brushes. It's very hard to use this brush on legs, under the chin and head.

Overall it's great for the price, great for backup. I would give it 5 stars if it was more versatile, or available in smaller size. It won't take out matts, but it does maintain the coat very well.

Great brush. The metal pins are very study and the tips don't hurt get testing it on the palm of my hand like the other one's I tested in stores like Walmart and Target. It gets the tangles out, beats using a plastic bristled brush i was using before, it was flimsy. Be careful about the size though. I ordered the medium sized brush as my dog is small cockapoo and it was bigger than expected. The description on Amazon was incorrect as it said the medium size is for small breeds. When I got the brush, the description said its for medium breeds like Collies Spaniels etc. It was the breed description for the Large brush. They were letting me return it, but I couldn't find a better brush for the $$ so I just kept it. Works just fine though.

The brush looks nice, however I ordered the medium brush, which is for small to medium breeds, and I received the large one instead! I get so disappointed when I receive the wrong item, however, Amazon made it super easy to return it, I printed the return label and I just have to take it to the post office, and wait for my exchange to arrive...
