The Safari crib bumper pad provides both protection and diversion for Baby, with a soft, padded design and cheerful colors. Features a solid sky blue panel on one side and sky blue bands and ties with colorful squares of alternating solids, patterns and jungle animals in aqua, pale green, lilac, yellow, white and sky blue on the other side. Fleece animals and embroidered details add contrast as well as a nice finishing touch. Coordinates with the comforter, fitted crib sheet and other accessories from the Safari collection. For safety reasons I was reluctant to purchase a bumper. After looking at this one in person and seeing that it had ties on top and bottom I decided to purchase it. My daughter did fine without it but I like the color it brought to the crib. I wanted her to be able to see the cute animal design so I have the pattern facing in toward her. Her crib has a drop down side so I have the bumper pad running across the back and ends of the crib. I took the excess pad and wrapped it back around the outside of each crib end and tied it. None of the solid blue shows. I am very pleased with the quality of this bumper pad and highly recommend it.

I really love these bumper pads and also the quality after washing is very good. the only thing i don´t like is the way the strings work. there are not enough and also they rip off easily. not stitched well for the price. Generally bumper pads are not recommended for babies before age 12 months since the air gets blocked away from the bed, also suffication could be a problem. We have bought a convertable crib (common in Europe) which can be used till approx. age 5 and so we will attach the bumper to the bed later. anyhow we still love it. it looks and matches perfectly to the rest of safari.

I searched all over the internet and in the stores for the perfect nursery set for my son that was only a few months away from coming into the world. I finally found this set online last year and just fell in love with it! It was exactly what I wanted for my son's nursery. The little animals on the bumper pad, valances, and hamper are fleece, and they stand out from the material, which adds just a little bit more to the set to make it unique. The little animals combined with the colors just makes a very relaxing and stimulating environment. I love being in my son's room along with all my family and friends. I have gotten so many compliments about his nursery!! I painted his walls the kind of aqua green that is used in the set and then I free-handed and painted four of the animals on the walls. I put the lion above his crib, the elephant and giraffe above his changing table, and the crocodile above his dresser. I have several pictures if anyone would like to see the whole set in a room.
