Listen. I saw Yelle in Atlanta just a few days ago, and they absolutely BLEW MY MIND. I enjoyed the album before, but seeing them actually made the album BETTER. I've never experienced a group that does that before. They will never get radio play in America, due to stuffy corporate radio and the fact that they sing in French - but they are one of the best kept secrets in pop.I caught on to Yelle through Pandora, and my life hasn't been the same since. I then went retro and caught up with "Pop Up", eagerly anticipating the release of "Safari Disco Club". I love both of them, but Safari Disco Club just has some extra dimensions that are really complex and incredible. It has songs ranging from having an 80's type synthesizer-vibe to a straight up you just want to JUMP kind of energy. I was so fortunate to see them in a small venue. I get the feeling this won't be possible the next time they are in the US, because with the way they are blowing the roof off of clubs across America, they're going to spread like wildfire. This album is great. If you like electronica, pop, energy, melody, awesome... you will not regret this album. I'm a native English speaker with little background in French, but it doesn't matter. This music spans languages and continents, and I would buy this album again, a million times. I have completely fallen in love with Yelle!

Step-Up from Pop-UP,

Safari Disco Club, the sophomore release from French pop group Yelle, is a wonder. Pop Up was a fun and infectious album, but at times sounded a little simple and monotonous. However, they have returned with an album that sounds deeper, richer, and fuller. The four year wait was definitely worth it. Key points in the albums changes are the instrumental bridge in Mon Pays. It sounds like it came straight from a horror movie soundtrack. Also the coda S'éteint Le Soleil ends with an astonishing cresecndo of krazy keyboards. Definitely pick up if you like dancable fun electronic music, you will not be dissapointed. I believe this album will be remembered for a long time. Hopefully they are getting the credit they deserve.Best track - Mon Pays

This is the second--and best--Yelle album. While I was a die-hard fan of Yelle when the only album out there was Pop Up, it's easy to say that this album is the best. Much deeper, more daaaancing!!! I love it. It's currently the number 1 electronic genre album on iTunes U.S.A. and Canada. You should buy this.
