Safari LTD Down on the Farm Barn and Stable

I bought this barn as a gift for my 4 year old daughter. She ADORES her toy horse collection. This barn is great for little horse lovers because one side of the barn is all horse stalls. The tops of the little dutch doors open so the horses can stick their heads out, or both doors open so the horses can enter their paddocks! There is room above the horse stalls for tack, hay, etc. The other side of the barn has plenty of room for all the other farm animals. This barn works great for Papo and Schleich horses and farm animals. It would be too small for the large size Breyer horses. The all-wood construction is a nice change from brittle plastics that are used in most toys.

After doing a ton of researching for the most durable and versatile barn/stable that works with Schleich and Safari, Ltd horses, I chose this one. I didn't like some of the other barns/stables since they only had room for 2 or three horses and no space for other farm animals. There are several stables as well as room for other animals found on a farm. The fact that there is soo much storage inside once closed is awsome as well. It is beautifully designed with many opening doors and windows. Any child who recieves this barn/stable will totally enjoy it for a very long time.

I researched many wooden barns for my 6 year old daughter's Christmas this year...She owns alot of schleich and safari farm animals, mostly horses...I did not think she was ready for breyer yet, as I remember their legs break easily when played with...When I received this barn/stable I could not have been happier...The attention to detail of the stall doors, tons of space and durabilty..It is really beautiful...Do not purchase this for the classic 9 inch breyer horses...It was made for the 3 to 5 inch safari and schleich animals, but could possibly fit the breyer stablemates.

Purchased this so my grandchildren would have a barn to play with at Oma's house. They all love it. Best part is that it came complete--nothing to put together. It has stood up fairly well considering there are three 2-yr-olds playing with it on a regular basis. Have had to fix 2 doors, but I consider this to be well made, and a great toy for pretend play. I purchased wooden toys for all my grandchildren this Christmas.
