Fun playset for my 7 yr old daughter who loves anything to do with ancient Egypt.

I initially found this product searching for sculptures of Pagan deities... not exactly what I'd had in mind but the price was certainly right. (Any other images I've seen of Isis are $45-$200, not affordable in times like these when every dollar is squeezed.) I ended up getting a toob for myself and one for my 7 year old as a stocking stuffer. She enjoys playing with them and they certainly are durable. I'm not sure I'd recommend them to Pagan adults who can afford better- the paint didn't always land exactly where it was supposed to, the images are crude by adult standards- but you get what you pay for. These are designed to be no more than children's toys and they fulfill that function admirably. (Again, my daughter enjoys hers greatly, and they encourage imaginative play.) I would however recommend them as a creative alternative to cash-strapped Pagans, because they are the best value, EVER, that I've seen in Egyptian deity images. (Where else can you get sculptures of Isis, Thoth, and Bast for around $1 per image?) They also have potential as a great teaching tool for Pagan parents like myself... the kids can learn while thinking they're just playing. :)

Excellent Collection of figures but where is Ammit? My 6 year old loves this figures and is generally enthralled by Egyptology for all its weirdness. Excellent selection except for the missing devourer of bad souls: Ammit.

I purchased this for my daughter's Egyptian school project. She made a pyramid out of clay and stuck these Egyptian figurines all around it, so they didn't exactly get played with, but they did do what they were purchased for!

I bought 2 of these toobs and am so glad. The figurines are small but brightly coloured and really cool. My kids at day care love them and are now more interested in learning about Egypt.

Used these for a school project on Egypt. It was perfect and contains the essential elements, including a mummy; the black Egyptian cat; a small set of pyramids; a tablet with writing; etc. Hard to find in stores.

We used these toys as "discoveries" for a backyard archaeological dig. The kids involved loved the activity and were very excited about the toys. Great colors, detail, and information included. Good value.

The figurines are pretty nice, with good details. I used them to decorate my daughter's birthday cake. They are a bit expensive for what they are, and I'm not sure what other use we'll have from them, but they served their purpose.

My 7 year old daughter absolutely loves ancient egypt. She has watched the King of Egypt about a thousand times, and loves to check out books on ancient egypt from the library. She wants an Ancient Egypt cake for her birthday. Im not very crafty in the kitchen, so I thought the best way to do it would be to put ancient egyption figures on the top of a cake. I was very excited to find these available on Amazon. We gave them to her today, and she was thrilled to get them. They seem pretty durable.

Doing a history project with my 12 year old daughter. Used the piece to create an egyptian crypt. Perfect in size and detail. Great purchase.
