Safari LTD Mummy in Sarcophagus

My 4 year old grandson requested a "King Tut" mummy for Christmas. Needless to say, I could not find one in a traditional shopping venue.
This toy, from Fat Brain Toys was perfect. It was about 4 inches long - so worked well with his other action figures. There were not too many small pieces - just the sarcophagus and mummy - and the mummy was removeable! Perfect for imaginative play. In addition, it was historically correct in that it was painted in gold and deep colors to replicate the actual "King Tut" and it was priced just right - under $20.

This toy was for my 11 year old nephew and he loved it. He is collecting Egyptian items and this went into the collection. I am his favorite Aunt due to neat gifts like this one!!

This is a really cool toy for any child interested in Egyptian history. It is very durable and the mummy even comes out of the sarcophagus. However, it is very small. I do recommend it though. My 5 and 6 year old boys love to play with it. I just thought it would be a little bigger for the money I paid.

Doing a history project with my 12 year old daughter and built an egyptian tomb. The piece was perfect in size and detail. Great purchase.

My son is really interested in ancient Egypt and all the creepiness of the mummies. This toy satisfies that interest. The mummy is glued into the sarcophagus, but can be easily removed. The detail on it is incredible. The plastic is also pretty sturdy and a little rigid.

It's a little creepy, but my five year old daughter loves all things Egypt and loves this authentic, although small, looking model.
