I just talked to Ralph Lauren.com, they said that they are in the process of bringing back this fragrance in limited quantities. Of course, they will only be selling it on their site (and of course at full price). The CSR said that any Safari fragance you can buy on other sites right now is at least 4-5 years old because they have not manufactured it in that long. She said the shelf life is a max of two years if kept in a cool dark room, so when you buy elsewhere you are getting an "aged" perfume. Just FYI.

This is the only scent I have used for over 15 years. I constantly get compliments on "how good you smell!!". I have had men follow me to ask me what I am wearing so they can buy it for their wives. I love this scent!!

I agree with the previous reviewer. I have worn Safari since it was introduced and I love it. It's true, people ask me all the time what perfume I'm wearing. I can't believe the price! Whenever I only have one bottle left in my linen closet stash, I get a little panicky ...so I stocked up!

I HAVE BEEN WEARING SAFARI FOR 15 YEARS AND I LOVE THE WAY IT SMELLS. EVERY TIME I WEAR IT, PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK ME WHAT PERFUME I'M WEARING. I LOVE IT AND WILL WEAR IT FOREVER! IT IS MY "SIGNATURE" FRAGRANCE!

This is the perfect perfume for me. Every time I wear it people notice and ask me about it. I understand it has been discontinued and can't figure out why. Maybe if all who like it would write Ralph Lauren and tell them how much you like it we might make a difference and have it back.

I've always loved this fragrance. This is a fantastic buy on this size bottle. I heard recently that they're discontinuing Safari, so those who use it will want to stock up on it before it's removed from the shelves.

I've loved this fragrance since it was first introduced. I just wish it were still available from department stores and the Ralph Lauren store. Unfortunately, when the existing supply is gone, it will not return and I think that's sad. I will say that this is a fragrance that is better on real women and not girls as it is very sophisticated and complex. The bottles are great too. I always saved mine and removed the metal cap holding the sprayer and then had a lovely little vase for small flowers like a spray of fairy roses.

I just bought this from amazon and received it in a very timely manner. It smells just like it did when I bought it 8 years ago. I love the way this smells, it's timeless. I also get tons of compliments when wearing this. I love this perfume!

The timing and the packaging were wonderful - love the fresh scent - not heavy! GREAT PRICE!

This item was exactly as described and was far less than I could get it for anywhere else. It was gift for my wife. When she saw the charge and I told her it was for this, she was shocked at how little we spent.
