I have several books of these authors and already knew that they will not let me down. But the photos inside surprise me beyond my expectation. They captured not only the very moment of lots of action e.g. giraffes flighting, struggling of buffalo under lions' attack, but also the photos were taken from a very excellent angle and composition and show lots of facial expression of the wild animals. A must on your bookshelf if you like african wild animals.

this book has beautiful photographs crisp and glossy it is a very nice hardback i would recommend books from this author like lords of the savannah leopards and cheetahs and also have another book in the mail the art of being a lion done by them you will really enjoy this book safari in wildest africa and it is a very good price!

I wanted this book so bad but I was not about to pay $30 at the bookstore. Again, Amazon impressed me with their product availability and prices listed by sellers. I bought this book for $12! I got it today and I love the pictures! I fell in love with the African plains through watching Big Cat Diary on BBC/Animal Planet. When I saw this book at the bookstore, I had trouble putting it down because of all the great information. I am hoping to have a career as an African guide and I am currently majoring in Biology in college. I am very excited and this book will help me with preparing myself for such a career.
