Safariland Comp II vs. HKS Speedloaders,

I have two of these and two from HKS. I probably don't use mine as much as most guys, but I was impressed with these. The Safariland speedloaders just gets pressed into the cylinder and your ready to shoot, the chances of getting a solid reload increases because there's nothing to twist afterwards. The HKS has to be pushed in and then turn the lever clockwise. Both are nice, but the Safariland is quicker when actually reloading because they are light weight, sturdy, and work like a charm. These speedloaders can be dropped, kicked on the floor several times and not blow apart...that is DURABLE! HKS speedloaders would never handle this kind of abuse.
With a little practice you can be amazingly fast and never have to look at the weapon while reloading, you can maintain target acquisition/situational awareness. If you drop the Safariland Comp-II Speedloader with the rounds still in it, the rounds won't come out. I highly recommend these Speedloaders!

I have a HKS speedloader and it's a good product but this one is way better! I can load my gun faster without trouble, just push the body down and your ready to rock! I'll buy few more of these!

I've got 5 of these so far. They're a little tricky to load, but an absolute dream when you need to get rounds into the cylinders quickly. You don't need to twist or manipulate anything - just line the rounds up with the chambers and push the whole unit down - now your loaded! I found I could do it in complete darkness the day I got my first one - tried it 2 or 3 with the lights on and then I was all set.A tip when loading: the instructions say to place the cartridges into the loader and invert it on a "hard surface." I use my hand - I can cover the rounds and turn both hand and loader over at once so I don't have ammo rolling on the table. These are the best speedloaders I've seen yet.
