The Amazon description doesn't do this cart justice. Note this is the desk-side cart and not the shorter one that fits under the desk. The wrong picture pops up in the cart and orders lists.

Pros:

--STRONG

--50 lb capacity for two lower shelves; 100 lb capacity for top shelf

--3-level adjustable middle shelf

--Attractive black and silver color scheme; clean lines

--Sturdy finish on all parts

--Great aeration for a CPU and laser printer.

--If said CPU and printer are reasonably small, they fit side by side on the bottom shelf.

--Pieces engineered to fit quickly and easily; no adjustments needed; all parts and one extra screw in box

--Every piece was individually wrapped and packed well, so there was no shipping damage, even though the box looked like a cat's hairball

--Neat looking side pocket, which goes on either side, of course

--Large, strong casters that roll very easily when unlocked

--Same day ship, and, because it came from a major nearby city, it arrived in one day

Cons

--No rear opening for computer/printer/monitor cables. Not even a popout. I had to cut my own, and that back wall is nice, strong metal. Thus, the 4 stars instead of 5.

--Shoplet never emailed shipper and tracking number, even though I emailed and phoned for the info. Then, again, with one-day delivery, I guess they didn't have time.

SAF 1856BL - Safco Scoot Desk-side Printer Stand

A super great stand for your printer & all it's stuff! Plenty of room for everything. I love it. Looks great in the room too.

I was ready to order this online from another national chain of office equipment -- then decided to check Amazon. It was $45 less at Amazon! (From now on, I check Amazon first for everything I am shopping around for!)

Unit was received within a week, was packed well, and assembled easily (once I figured out the pictorial instructions).

This printer stand is precisely the right size and strength to support my Canon 14" photo printer -- which is heavy and carries a large footprint.

All in all, very pleased with this product, and the price via Amazon.

Easily put together even though there are no written instructions, only picture diagrams. Very solid stand for my printer with adequate storage. Just wish it came with 2 adjustable shelves instead of one. Good value for the money.

This is a great cart. I looked at many in the stores and thought they were flimsy. When I saw reviews on this online I thought it was worth a try. It is very durable. We will purchase again when we need more printers.

Product arrived with dented pieces. Product is sturdy for a heavy printer. Instructions were ok to follow. I did not try to return the stand as it is very heavy. One metal piece and 2 boards arrived dented. I believe the supplier could do better with improved packing.

I recently bought a couple of these printer stands and we really like them. We tend to like black for our office and these were inexpensive but sturdy, look high tech and are easy to move, which is what I was looking for.

Assembly of the Safco printer stand was quick and easy. The sturdy construction easily supports the heavier laser printer. Casters on the printer stand make it convenient to move the stand around as needed.

The Safco Scoot printer stand consists of a black laminated top, heavy plastic casters, with the frame and sub shelves being constructed of steel. Although the instruction sheet is a bit confusing, assembly is easy and requires only a Phillips screwdriver and about 10 minutes of time. Once assembled, the stand is sturdy and provides plenty of space for your printer and supplies. The casters roll easily and two are of the locking variety. My OfficeJet Pro 8500 fits nicely on the stand, along with all of my supplies. The side pocket can be placed on either side of the unit and is a nice feature. My one small complaint is the back is solid and provides no holes for routing cables through to the lower shelves. These may, of course, be easily added with a metal hole saw. Overall this is a nice printer stand and I found it on Amazon at a MUCH better price than other merchants.

I agree with some of the other reviews that assembly is somewhat difficult. Once I figured out how to assemble it, all the pieces fit together like a glove. Now that I look back, I wish I would have done a dry assembly before actually screwing in the parts. I had to undo a few screws. I too, would like to have an extra shelf. The unit is rock solid. I too, did not receive any shipping info, but it arrived in 2 business days.
