This is a good, solid product. It works as it is supposed to and appears to be well made. It came with four little foam "stickers" to put on the bottom to prevent scratches to the desktop.
I am quite pleased with this purchase. It helped organize and more effectively utilize my desk space.

Great for those who need several folders in easy reach at once. I bought it to use as a staffing recruiter, and needed about 4 folders for different stages of the process. This fit the bill perfectly and the bottom two slots I use for blank forms and an in-box. Two extra slots on top give me peace of mind for future expansion. I love this thing.

Even at the lightning deal price it was still pretty pricey for me to pay for a desk organizer. After getting it in the mail, I understood why. It's sturdy and solid, very high quality.

Two of the wire products, including this one, on my order were just a little bent so that they dont sit solid on the desk. They rock just a little which could be a big problem if I was looking at the items on my desk but they are being used in a supply area and no one will care. The "bend" in the metal isnt visible but its just enough bent that they dont sit right on a desk. The boxes they arrived in were not damaged so it is assumed they were sold this way.

I bought this for my desk in my classroom. I have a several binders and clipboards for my classes and could not stay organized. This organizer has done the trick. I'm able to keep my binders, clipboards, files, and textbooks up on top and use the two horizontal trays for mail and my "to do" box. The vertical sections and horizontal sections can hold up to 1.5 inch binders. The metal organizer is very heavy and sturdy. It is quite large, but since it holds everything, it doesn't bother me and keeps my desk clean. My only complaint is that the price is a tad high ($40) and the two bottom trays don't have a back on them so papers can slide through the back, which can be handy since I often grab things from the back side while teaching class, but I'd prefer the two bottom trays to have backs on them.

I purchased this product hoping to find a solution to my husband dumping a pile of mail and the children dumping their schoolwork on our kitchen table or counters. I have been very satisfied with the organizer. The six upright sections allow everyone in our family to have their own folder for schoolwork, newsletters, mail and misc. papers. The two horizontal sections also allow us to sort magazines and current day mail and receipts. This product is a must for anyone dealing with the "paper dump" I described above. The only two cons I see to this unit are its weight and size. This is not something that can easily be picked up and moved around. Also, the unit takes up approximately 1/3 of the space on my desk. With my laptop next to the unit, there is not a lot of space left to accomodate other activities.

There are many sellers for this item on Amazon.com I got this one from Shopet because they charges no shipping, and the total price is far lower than all the other sellers.
I don't know how it happens but mine arrived it on next day. The one side of the wall is slightly bent but it is not a problem as I can bend it back. For the usability it completely meets my expectation. In the past no matter how hard I tried I have end up with piles of papers,documents, or somethings sitting on my desk or on some surfaces.
Now all those are in the organizer.
I sorted the papers in priority orders, from second left to right column according to their urgency. The the first column is open for item that requires immediate attention and handling. The bottom slot is for incoming mails and documents that need to be sorted, and for the shelf above for mails/documents for immediate handling.
I used many different organizer but this is the only item that helps me organized and takes up my entire loose papers.

I love this product. I'm a "pile organizer", and even though I have a pretty large desk, it got pretty messy at times. This allows me to store everything in a more neat, organized fashion. Its not super sturdy, though- we dropped the box before we opened it, and one of the metal pieces had bent inward a bit- we were able to bend it back without any problem, but its important to recognize that it won't stand up to much abuse.

This is not an inexpensive product, but I love it. It fits on my desk and helps me keep everything in order. It's much more attractive than other organizational tools I saw online. I'll probably have it forever.

I saw this item in the Gold Box deal section. I looked at it just wondering why it costed almost $40. I was surprised to hear that the top slots were 2" wide. This is a very good-sized unit. I added it to my cart, and also after checking its dimensions, I also picked up from Amazon a Whitmor 6054-585 Supreme Wide Stacking Shelf, Chrome (note: the one measuring 14"x15"x15", not the wide one). The Whitmor shelf fits *perfectly* over the Safco organizer. Between these two products, I have organized my workspace tremendously.

As far as the Safco itself, I find the build quality to be above average, definitely exceeding expectations. It's much sturdier than similar fare I've seen in office supply stores. This product was well worth the cost, and turned me on to Safco. I will definitely consider their other products based on the quality of this organizer.
