5.0 out of 5 stars moody and atmospheric, November 22, 2002

i saw the film on tv a while back and was struck by the dark, brooding soundtrack. excellent album, mostly synthesized instruments, plays as a single piece with many changes of mood and atmosphere. completely instrumental, this is an excellent album to play late a night and chill out to. highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Making You Feel Safe, January 29, 2004

I caught the film one afternoon and was pleasently suprised by the film and the soundtrack.I have to admit that I bought the soundtrack first and being a fan of ambient music listened to it day and night for weeks. It also gave me a better appreciation for the film because often times the background score seemed to provoke feelings other than what was on the screen which is a great way to create an unsettling and strange atmosphere.Ed Tomney has created music that is perfect as music to just listen to and I would have to say that the film is worth checking out as well...Julianne Moore`s performance is vivid, thoughtful and beyond compare - she is one of Americas`great actresses.
