1.0 out of 5 stars 3 oz - not 15 oz
What I received is simply a pair of pants with some extra fabric in the crotch inset. I tried it with water, and found that the water was slow to soak in, and after 3 ounces it was wet all the way through to the front of the panel. I would not recommend it for even light incontinence. I'm looking for a cloth incontinence product that is better than the best disposables,...

5.0 out of 5 stars This product really helped me thru my ordeal, January 3, 2011
Hello, I really do not know what this person was thinking rating this product 1 star but to each his own.

2 years ago I developed in my lower area a perennial abscess and a fistula. I had never had something like this happen before to me. Over the course of 2 years I had 3 surgeries and one minor touch up you can say. This was a painful and excruciating experience to say the least but lo and behold I cam across this product.

Since I was discharging fluids often this came in very handy. The first time I put the underwear on I felt a cooling sensation which I have not really felt with other underwear. I am only 38 so I was a bit skeptical since I never had to use 'special' underwear before. Well feeling the cooling made me relaxed and open to continue using it. The fit was a bit snug where the openings for the legs are but shortly thereafter my legs got acclimated to it and no more problems. It fit perfect across my waist always and was easy to put on and take off.

Needless to say this product kept me from embarrassing moments. The absorbent panel does absorb a lot of fluid. Believe me I know! Over time I purchased more and they just continued to work for me. I should mention it is very soft cotton and latex free. I could have it on for hours and it felt OK. I would recommend this for anyone with incontinence or occasional fluid discharge. I thank GOD I found this because it really did help.

Finally since this product is treated with a special chemical called 'Fabrapel' which will repel fluid it is important to wash and dry the correct way. Do not use detergent or the 'Fabrapel Effectiveness' will start to dissapear. Wash in cold water as directions say with non-detergent soap like the Soapberry they sell here at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/SOAPBERRY-100%25-DETERGENT-FREE-LAUNDRY-CARE/dp/B004HLVWFU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1294090843&sr=8-2

When finished Air Dry, very important do not put in the Dryer or the effectiveness will go away. I followed these directions to a T and the underwear has lasted repeated washings. After 2 years my health problem is over but I will continue to use this underwear from time to time. It really is great!

I hope this review helps anyone debating whether or not to purchase this product. It definitely worked for me!. Try it, you won't regret it.

Victor

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Kleinert's Safe and Dry Waterproof Incontinence Underwear with Integrated Absorbent Panel For Light - Moderate Incontinence (Apparel)
What I received is simply a pair of pants with some extra fabric in the crotch inset. I tried it with water, and found that the water was slow to soak in, and after 3 ounces it was wet all the way through to the front of the panel. I would not recommend it for even light incontinence. I'm looking for a cloth incontinence product that is better than the best disposables, in an effort to keep my elderly father dry all night long. This pant would keep you warm in the winter time, but is useless for incontinence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Incontience Underwear, October 25, 2011
Looks and feels like regular mens underwear however has a hidden absorbant 6 ply layer that hold in the fluid. Saves me money over pads to the washable nature of the product. Would recommend to any husband, grandfather, spouse who wants to save money and wear mens underwear naturally.

5.0 out of 5 stars MY FATHER IS VERY PLEASED, January 18, 2011
MY FATHER HAS INCONTINENCE AND I BOUGHT THESE UNDERWEAR PANTS FOR HIM AFTER HIS PROSTASTE CANCER SURGERY. HE REALLY LIKE THESES BECAUSE THEY LOOK AND FEEL LIKE NORMAL UNDERWEAR HOWEVER THEY HAVE AN INTERGRATED ABSORBANT CORE WITH A WATERPROOF LINING THAT KEEPS HIM VERY DRY. WHILE I KNOW NO IN CONTINENCE PANT IS PERFECT THESE WORK VERY WELL AND I WILL BUY HIM MORE.
