1.0 out of 5 stars NOT TSA COMPLIANT!, November 1, 2011
This review is from: Safe Skies 4 Dial Global Heavy Duty TSA Approved Combination Locks - Twin (Apparel)
On the Safe Skies website it states that if these TSA approved locks are cut off for any reason, they will replace them. That is NOT the case. My husband's lock was cut off at LAX and when I contacted Safe Skies about replacing it, they never even acknowledged my complaint so now we're out a lock.

1.0 out of 5 stars JUNK, November 25, 2008
By
Purchased two locks,, first lock had to be cut open when I arrived at hotel. the combo would not open. I don't know why, perhaps someone fumbled with the combo resetting it. Hotel charged $20 for service to cut the lock. Same thing happened to second lock, two days later. It would not open. Instead of calling hotel and dishing out another $20, I twisted it with my bare hands and forced it open. It's that easy.. These locks are a worthless and a waste of money....

5.0 out of 5 stars Works for Airport Travel, November 4, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought these to secure a rifle case when flying to go on a hunting trip (in addition to the lock and key already on the rifle case). However with any gun case, if they want to review the contents a second time (after the first time that you wait for them to do so), their suppose to contact you to do so (as they would have to anyway due to the case's own lock and key). So next time I would use heavier duty locks instead as I'm sure these can be cut off somewhat easier.

However, for normal luggage that you typically do not lock up, these would be the best option to at least keep any airport employee from just sticking their hands in. Plus so that they don't have to cut the lock off if they officially want to look inside. They are easy to use and to set the combination. I would buy these again.
