Questionable / Four stars for #2,
By However, I'm ordering another one in the hopes I'll get a good one and keeping the guts of the other one for spare parts just in case. Review for # 2 Well, since I got one bad one (as reviewed before) and saw this product could work, I took a shot and ordered another. Happy to report it works rather well. I've opened lots of cans by now and haven't had a bit of trouble yet, Nor have I had to change batteries. My only problem is it's geared down so much that it's slow. Unlike the one touch, you have to continually hold the arm for the blade to cut into the can and keep it running. Let go and it stops. Minor annoyance. Nice part is though, it's easy to get off the can if something goes wrong. I had a one touch before and it was a nightmare to get off the can from the start. I never even got one can open with that thing without it stalling. It went in the trash after 3 cans and I finally broke it getting it off the third. That's why I got this one. Pretty good product once you get a good one. I have no idea of the odds of that though. Mine turned out 50/50.

Its not what I thought it be. It works fine. Its slow, and it requires some finagling to get it on the can.

Opener is a little awkward to use and operates quite slowly.
It does open cans leaving no sharp edge on the lid. The edge left on the can is somewhat sharp and care needs to be taken not to get cut. It would be better if it had more power, such as plugging into a house AC outlet.
