I have a Triumph Advance Evenflo car seat and it won't fit.

After one trip out and back, both bags had rips along the bottom, and one had ripped at the top of the zipper.

It also didn't fit through the aisles of the plane, I had to pick up the seat and carry it.

We liked this car seat bag when we bought it but it does not hold up well against rough handling. We only got two round trip flights out of it before it was destroyed beyond repair. It got a small tear in it on the flight out and we couldn't get any type of tape to stick to the fabric for a repair. By the time we got home from the return flight the tear had ripped *wide* open, and our car seat was damaged as a result.

I've had the SafeFit sitting on the shelf for months. Finally pulled it out for a trip to Hawaii.

Our Britax Marathon barely fit into this thing. It made the first leg of our trip in one piece. But when we arrived in Hawaii - the first time I tried to remove the seat, the zipper ripped at the top.

Then on the return flight - I zipped up the bag and right at the end zipping it up - the entire zip mechanism just popped right off of the bag. When I arrived at home, I thought I would have to cut the seat out of the bag. Fortunately, the stitching along the zipper was so flimsy, I was able to just rip the thing open, with little to no effort.

Poor, poor, poor construction for a bag that was supposed to be sturdy enough for travel.

Do not buy this tote.

I bought this travel bag in August '08 before my first plane ride with my infant daughter. I choose the SafeFit because it had wheels and a backpack carrying option.

I have used the bag with both a Peg Perego Primo Viaggio infant seat and the Sunshine Kids Radian convertible car seat. The bag worked beautifully for the infant seat (it was also used by friends for a Graco Snugride and a Chicco Keyfit). The Radian is a little too tall for the bag. I had to remove the rear facing foot and fold up the seat to get it to fit in the bag.

I was a little disappointed withe backpack straps. They are fairly thin straps with no padding. It wasn't a big deal with the light infant seat but after heading through the check-in line at the airport with the Radian (22 lbs!) once, I opted for pulling it along with the rest of my luggage instead.

I confess I had some trouble with the wheels too. I often struggled to get the bag/seat balanced correctly so that I was pulling on the wheels instead of the bag itself. Ultimately, the bag ripped from being pulled across cement incorrectly when I was too laden with luggage to care.

In all, this bag survived about 10 round trip flights in less than a year. I think it is about dead now, but like I said, it is because I dragged it across cement, not because it didn't stand up to luggage manhandling. I even forgot to remove the straps a couple of times and the bag survived without problem. I am now looking for a replacement travel bag. I need it for the Radian so I will look around at other options but may end up with this bag again because it really worked well.

The bag looks very good, with wheels and with a strap to carry it on the back. However, it is not big enough for the Evenflo car seat up to 50 pounds. I have a Triumph Advance Evenflo car seat and it won't fit. So I had to return it, too bad.

I bought this to protect my infant seat during a recent trip. It took some manuvering to fit both the seat and the base in the bag (putting the seat in first and then inverting the base upside-down over the seat and then zipping up). The bag already had two "rub" tears in it by the time i checked the bag from the corners of the base but nothing further happened during the trip. The wheels in the bottom of the bag are definetely convenient and there was not a mark on the car seat when I arrived. THe straps are useless but it is easy to pull through the airport using the upper handle. It is worth it for the price and it will survive many more trips.

Works great, used it many times now to travel home via airlines. They try to kill it, but it just won't die. It is a tight fit for Britax seats, but still works very well.

We have used this bag for only a handful of flights (for our DD's Britax Diplomat) and it is already time to replace it. The way the bag is designed makes it easy for a baggage handler to drag it across the tarmac incorrectly, ripping the bottom of the bag to shreds. We have to recover the bottom of the bag after each flight with duct tape.

In the baggage handlers' defense, I will say that I have grabbed this bag and started dragging it incorrectly myself on numerous occasions so I can see why they do the same thing. The bottom of the bag needs another set of wheels or some kind of major redesign because this one just doesn't hold up to the typical wear and tear baggage handlers put luggage through. So far, our car seat has made it unscathed, but only because of the repeated reapplications of duct tape! 3M 2245 Scotch Heavy Duty All-Weather Duct Tape, 1.88-Inch x 45-Yard, 1-Pack

I would not recommend this car seat bag if you plan on using it over and over and over again. I don't currently have a recommendation, but I am going to start shopping for a new one very soon.

I bought this bag for an airplane trip with my family, this bag is HORRIBLE! The carseat barely fit in it, once you got it in it was hard to zip, and security at the airport had to take the seat out because their equipment could not see through the bag enough (this happened both times coming and going at two different TSA checkpoints), odd considering how it was designed FOR TRAVEL! We had to switch planes, and this bag zig zagged through the airport, it was hard to drag, it fell, and never balanced correctly, which by the way caused the bottom of it to rip open. It also didn't fit through the aisles of the plane, I had to pick up the seat and carry it. Don't waste your money!
