5.0 out of 5 stars Great Travel System April 5, 2010

This is a great travel system because its VERY light compared to other systems and the car seat goes up to 35 lbs.! The colors are lime green and brown (a bit brighter in person~and trendy for mom) and the fabric is soft yet easy to wipe clean. The size of the system is also great for small cars (we have a Honda Civic). Also, when the stroller is folded up, it is so much smaller than other ones I've seen. To me, this makes sense over the Graco 32 and 35 Snugrides because it is less money, not nearly as bulky (stroller and carseat are lighter and more narrow), and the fabric can be wiped up right away (plus, its really cute). The basket under the stroller is plenty big, and the cup holders are always nice. I also like how the car seat handle is shaped. It is curved so you can fit it nicely in that nitch by your elbow, and the actual handle isn't so wide making it really easy to get a good, comfortable grip on it. As far as putting it together, the wheels were a little tricky, but no big deal if you have standard tools. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone. Its a newer product, but I can't find anything to complain about. Its awesome! And I'm a really picky person!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome system June 24, 2010
I bought this exact travel system in the same pattern. I love it! The car seat, so far, has the tallest shell, out of infant carriers. It was extremely easy to install in my Sienna with latch. The strap adjuster is in the front and it's very easy to adjust. I had no problems with the chest clip. Very, very easy. This carseat would be wonderful for preemies or smaller infants too. The car seat itself is plush and soft, unlike other brands which seem to have no padding at all.

The only cons i have for this product is:

Carseat canopy is too short. You would probably have to add a small blanket to keep the sun out of their eyes.

Stroller closes down, but does stand upright on it's own.

Stroller canopy is also shorter than on other brands.

These are minor and arent deal breakers for me. The car seat is extremely safe, which is why i bought the travel system. Dh liked the stroller b/c its smaller than full size strollers. My 2.5yo loved it! Too bad it's not hers. The assembly was easy. I did it on my own. I think the hardest part was putting the pins in the back wheels. It was doable though.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this system! October 23, 2010

I love this travel system. It is very easy to maneuver. The stroller is easy to fold and to unfold, as well. One hand does the trick. The colors are gorgeous! Easy to clean material. Very cushiony too in comparison to other systems.

Cons: The back wheels are kind of hard to lock in. The carseat is very bulky. When I place it on a shopping cart, I have to stand on the side of the cart to see where I'm driving. However, it is very lightweight :) The size is good in a way because it provides additional protection for the baby, but it barely fits in my car with the base(Ford Focus). It is very easy to install though.

These are minor things that don't bother me so much. I still love it! I would absolutely recommend this product to people with a larger vehicle than mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Glad I picked this travel system January 8, 2011
By barb
**NEW EDIT** I just had to come back to give an update on my review. I still love this set. My son is now 15 months, 31 inches tall, and 26lbs. He is just now going to have to go to a new car seat because he is getting too long for it. The only thing I have found after using this for the past 15 months is that it is difficult to get his legs under the tray on the stroller when he has shoes on. If I were to change anything about this set, it would be to make the leg holes on the stroller larger or have a latch there. I think the stroller issue now would make me give this system 4 stars, but I would still recommend it to a friend. Hope this helps everyone. (original review below)

I have to start by saying that I literally spent MONTHS reading reviews about different travel systems, and countless hours at every baby store test driving carseat/stroller combos....I finally settled on this one and I'm glad I did.

Pros:
-It is very stylish..the colors are a very deep rich chocolate brown with vibrant lime green. Looks very expensive.
-I LOVE the way the stroler folds. It makes it so much more compact and easier to fit in the trunk of my small car.
-Stroller has a great basket underneath...very large!
-Love that it goes to 35lbs. My son is already 17lbs at 4 months old, so I'm happy to get more use from an infant carseat.
-Very easy to click in and out of the carseat base (and very easy to install in the car, even without the latch system)
-This fit in my TINY 2-door Chevy Cavalier without any problems. It's large, but sits more upright to make up for the added weight limits.
-Great padding!!! Soft and comforable, without making my baby sweat like some others.

Cons:
-Very heavy!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I would buy again April 6, 2011

So far I have mostly liked this system and I would buy it again. For one, it has a very high safety rating. On Consumer Reports it is not the highest rated seat but it does have their highest safety rating (which their highest rated seat, a chicco keyfit does not). This alone was enough for me to buy it. The carseat also is the longest infant seat shell and goes up to 35 lbs. However, my son hates laying down and sitting down low, so I will probably buy a bigger carseat before then. But the option is there if you want to use this for the entire time your child is rear facing. The long shell does have it's down side, it is difficult to fit in my car (Honda Civic) but it does fit in the middle of the back seat. And from what I have been told by my friend with a graco (shorter shell) hers does not fit either, so it really doesn't matter which seat you get. The seat itself and stroller are pretty light. When I first started using the seat, I found it difficult to get the seat out of the base, but after a few uses it either worked out the kinks or I got more used to it and now I have no problem pulling it in and out of the base. During the first couple of uses the handle also had problems going down and up. It kept sticking. But after a few times it quit doing that. I also initially had an issue with folding up the stroller. I felt like I was breaking it in half to fold it up. Finally, I found the problem. I thought the seat was laid all the way back (which the directions state has to be the case for it to fold) BUT apparently mine came out of the box with the seat sitting forward some. Once I laid the seat back, this stroller is so easy to fold up. I press the button/latch, give it a tiny push downward and it folds itself up and stands in place. Absolutely easy. The stroller is extremely easy to steer.... Read more ›
