Safety 1st All-in-One Convertible Car Seat

Purchased this seat at a local national store for $99.50 regular price. Bought the black version as it was all they had in stock and we love it and our 12 month old loves it too. It is a bigger seat - be sure to try out fit in small vehicles. Fits in our minivan great. Good manual/easy to understand, the seat is easy to adjust, straps stay straight, great support for napping and well padded. Our daughter is a fussy car rider and when we switched to this seat we didn't hear a peep for the entire evening. She was so content, it was great! Overpriced here on Amazon - was MUCH cheaper at the big national store that starts with a W.

I brought this car seat BEFORE the new recommendations. I have had this car seat for a couple of months. My daughter quickly out grew her infant car seat. If I remember correctly, she weighed over 20 pounds by the time she was 9 months. When she turned one, she was the size of a 2-year old. She is incredibly tall. she'll have plenty of room to grow in this seat. The car seat was easy to install rear facing (rf) and forward facing(rf). I love the recline it allowed her to sleep comfortably, void of bobbing or drooping of her sleeping head. I have a large size sedan and there is plenty of room even with the car seat nestled in the middle of the seat. I couldn't imagine this seat in a smaller size sedan, it might be too bulky. Now she is ff her head does drooped a little. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave this car seat four stars for ff and three stars for rr. this seat rated comparable or better than some high end models. Again, when I brought this, the plan was to keep her rr for a short time, so I thought and so I concentrated on ff ratings. Although the NHTSA only gave this car seat 1 star for the booster, I decided to purchase this anyway. I figure by the time she gets to the booster it will be time to buy a new seat. I also like the price. I brought this from Wal-Mart for $99. Our seat is black faux leather with gray triming, which makes spills easy to clean.

I tried two other car seats and my daughter feels most comfortable in this one. Also its very easy to adjust and clean.

I've been using this seat for my son for a year and a half and I must say its wonderful. 35 lb weight limit for rear facing is perfect for the new recommendations of rear facing until age 2. It installs and adjusts easily. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is 1. its a bit bulky and can be a tight squeeze in smaller cars, especially while rear facing and 2. it would have been nice if the car seat pad were removable for easier cleaning.
