This was only $6 but its $6 I wish I hadnt spent.
This is pretty thin and very cheaply made. It is also not soft at all like youd think and expect. It feels like scratchy acrylic or something. You would be better off laying a towel down and putting the baby on that. We have one we bought at Target that I love. I think its from the parents or parenting brand, its yellow with a little heat sensor thing on it that turns white if the water is too hot. I love that one. I only bought the frog because I thought it would be something a little more cute. I'll be sticking with using the old one.

I have a huge baby bathtub and needed a cushion for my infant. This little froggie lasted 2 months of daily use. I loved it so much we bought a second one after the first one fell apart - we would hang it to dry and I washed it in the washer about once every couple of weeks, so pretty sturdy considering.
I would recommend this product as it is cheap and does its job.

i have a baby that wouldn't sit on this for one minute she cried and cried when i placed her in it. i realized she was crying because it hurt her skin, so when i quit using it she liked her baths again. it's cute! but i couldnt use it at all it was a total waste of money.

We have used this with our baby since she was a newborn. It works great for bath time. We just lay this down in the sink or tub, fill the tub or sink with about 2 inches of water , make sure this thing is soaked and lay her on it. I highly disagree with comments that say this thing is scratchy or thin (maybe they got duds??). I think it's perfect and does it's job very nicely.

This is a great idea for transitioning little ones from the baby tub to the big tub while still giving them some cushion!

i bought this bath sponge when it was about $5 so i thought for the price we'd see how it is. when it arrived i was pretty disappointed with the size of it. it's much shorter than the $7 ones from target i've been buying for the last several months (my baby is 7mns old) & the target ones just don't seem to hold up well. this frog sponge is much shorter so i have a hard time laying my son on it. he's soon getting to the age where he won't need these soon so i'm not that worried about it but but i think i'll get my $7 target one again considering this one only covers his head & partial back (his tush hangs off). for the price this sponge is good & it seems to hold up to getting rung out, hung over the shower bar, etc. but this seems much better suited for a very tiny infant.

I love this product. Both of my children hated the infant bath tub, putting them in an awkward position, so this was the perfect solution. I put a bit of water in the tub, just to dip the washcloth in, and tada - perfect for laying the baby flat. I highly recommend it.

I got this little froggie, actually, with a tub. The tub was just too much to handle (filling it up, emptying it out) and so I went the old fashion way, as my Mom stated and "Just use the sink." But I needed something on the bottom of the sink for my little one to sit on. We've been using this thing from 4 months onward. Then our froggie started to get old and I needed a replacement. THIS froggie was the EXACT froggie we got with the tub! Perfect! Now I can continue with using it with daughter now 2 yrs old, which we now use in the tub. As for it's roughness? I don't use it just to lie my little one on and use a damp cloth to bath her. No. It is rough that way. How I use it and why it's wonderful to me? It's because it's completely submerged in water. UNDER the water, completely filled with water, and absorbs the water, so it's very soft. After bath time, I wring it out, and hang it over the towel rod (ours is inside the tub, so any drips-drips stay in the tub). Wonderful, wonderful sponge for bathing. Fills up the sink's bottom when she was a baby. Definitely a item that has lasted and worked for us for almost 2 years.

I read the reviews before I ordered this, so I knew ahead of time what to expect. This is NOT the same quality as the bear foam cushions you used to be able to get back in the day (those were great). This is adequate for a bit of cushion and to keep baby from slipping, but it is thin and I think the price is too high. For the quality, I would expect the price to be around $4-$5 (I paid 7.99). However, since this is the only larger sized foam bath cushion readily available at the moment, I will probably over-pay and order another one when this one is worn out.

I have used many of these bath sponges. Every few months I just throw them away and get a new one. It is really great being able to give the baby a bath in the bathtub and not one of those baby tubs. However I will say that compared to all the sponges I have used this one is the smallest and thinnest. I would use a different brand because my 8 month old fits the others much better.
